Hearing all about the overbearing ICE goons in Minneapolis arresting innocents, killing and shooting people the Trump reaction was to double down sending in many more thugs with Federal impunity to quell the growing unrest that "he started"! Also to terrorise the people making them fear to go out, even to work. That is affecting the city's economy.
Typical of Trump attacking US Blue states, yet supporting the Iranian protestors, but then hanging them out to dry. Flipflopper ! Also pardoning the Capitol Hill thugs.
"Words are Cheap", especially Trump's. He can't even trust himself in staying with some recent ramble he made a week ago.
I think he's forgotten the US constitution he swore to protect without touching the traditionally offered bible. 🤔Burn Baby, Burn 🔥.
It was the Devil who saved him from the Assassin's bullet imho, and I believe he has a dark soul attuned to devilish mischief, on a global level but most especially detrimental to the US people themselves.
The notion of the US as a failed state is seemingly more and more likely.
China 🇨🇳 and Russia 🇷🇺 are no doubt quietly applauding the damage Trump and his goons are doing to the US.
I heard some suggesting ICE goons were like the Nazis pre WWII. They remind me of the thug cops in "A Clockwork Orange".

That weapon, dubbed the EU’s trade “bazooka” – allows for curbing imports of goods and services into the EU, a market of 27 countries with a combined population of 450 million.

I admire Macron, uses a 'velvet hand in an iron glove' approach to diplomacy.

Greenland was named "Grœnland" (Greenland) by Erik the Red, a Norse Viking exiled from Iceland around the late 10th century, to make the new land sound appealing and attract settlers, though it was likely also partly green in the south due to warmer climate then. The name served as effective propaganda for colonization, promising fertile land despite its icy appearance today.

I agree with the stance Europe has taken with Trump's terrible tariffs and particularly his desire to invade and annex Greenland, a Sovereign semi autonomous part of Denmark.
How dare him with his bs about so called security rubbish when the US has a big beautiful base in Northern Greenland already and the right to establish more. Even able to start joint ventures mining in Greenland.
Why waste US tax payers money of US$700billion to purchase Greenland when the US can do what it wants already. As usual Trump's weasel words are obvious to the whole world. His hollow edicts aren't worth taking seriously as TACO. He's a wannbe carpet bagger!
I think it's a good idea to keep sending European forces to Greenland, for military exercises, and to confront any US invasion, even symbolically. Maybe Australian military forces could join in the defense of Greenland too against the rogue state of US. A Pariah state with little conscience.
Trump deserves to be ostracised globally as a greedy orange Troll. 🍊

Been thinking the same Terry. Denmark permits US to be the prime defender of Greenland without letting it take control. Surely that will deter any hostile moves from Russia and China. But we know Trump wont accept that as he wants the islands rare earth and other minerals and resources.

In front of serious EU and Canadian Adults Trump backed off with his infantile plans to invade Greenland. When the obvious was explained to him that the US already had the right to build military bases in Geenland, and engage in joint mining ventures that would be welcomed in Greenland, at no cost to the US taxpayers at a trillion dollars or more to buy Greenland. Face slap!
One cynic said Trump wanted his legacy to be the expansion of the US Empire/hermegony shown on future maps, like his silly Gulf of America, and Venezuela, Canada, ...a Gaza Rivera, Moroe Doctrine 2.0 over a century old saying to the World, this our domain of influence in South America, so stay away !

Unbelievable!

It's like the world order is going topsy turvy with GW now accelerating at increasing rates due to emerging hitherto unknown factors. For example like China's efforts at reducing pollution took away a smog shield allowing more light and heat through.
