That's a good point. If they've been convinced that they won't be running riot most weeks, and that that proves true, then that is a good result for the wider competition.
They finished top four in every senior grade in which they competed - I reckon they'd be very wary of dominating a competition because it doesn't foster long term loyalty to a team.
Really fascinating stuff going on with CV at the moment. Because their plan for cricket around Melbourne was a complete shemozzle, and called out as such by a number of clubs (and competitions more broadly), they're now just going to do it by stealth. South Caulfield are a really strong club...
Interesting moves from Brunswick - they obviously don't think they're far away. Fort's a good player, and a big personality, so will be interesting to see how he and McKay fare in the same team. Mat Hewat also a great pickup for PVBCC - out of the game for a couple of seasons, so I'm backing a...
It is rushed for a good reason. PVCC had the feelers out mid last week, but unsure we're they're at with a replacement.
Also, echo the plaudits for Romain - a really good guy who plays terrific cricket (and footy!).
A Turf in the ECA would, across the board, be a pretty similar standard to Barclay Shield. A few more wily guns getting about in DVCA than ECA's second grade, though.

I've just had a look, and seen the "covers must now be laid" announcement came at 5.21pm. Hmmmmm...
Probably not many others, but regardless, yours finished stone, motherless last in the top grade and were uncompetitive in every other grade. Hardly something to hang your hat on.
