Re: Bowling Boots I've always had a tendancy to go over on my ankle a lot so have sworn by them! I currently have the Adidas Hi Cut boots. Very good. Although I supplied the Nike ones to someone and they are superb quality.....if a little expensive!

    Nasty Cricket

Re: Nasty Cricket It's my nickname...Nasty. My first ever game for my current club, I was bowling (in borrowed boots a size too small!) on a wet pitch and slipped...unfotunately it lead to me bouncing a 12 year old and hitting him on the helmet! .......And Nasty Neil was born! So it...

    Nasty Cricket

Re: Nasty Cricket Thanks guys. I have used a Blaster that I had as a sample for this season, and its been great. Cracking pick up, and no real dead areas. 2lb 8 in weight. Not had chance to look at the Boom, as our superb weather conditions combined with missing a large portion of the back...

    Spikes!

Re: Spikes! I bowl in bowling boots, as I've always had quite week ankles, but I will only ever bat in trainers/rubber soles, as I once had a serious knee injury after getting the spikes stuck whilst playing a pull shot! Although i am seriously considering half spikes for batting for next season.

    What was your first bat?

Re: What was your first bat? My first real 'playing' bat was a Duncan Fearnley Extra Cover...completely white back to it! Now that was one DIRE bat! My second was a Gray Nicholls Elite, much better! And at the 3rd attempt, I got a beauty...Hunts County...whatever the one was with the big...

    I need help!

Re: I need help! In 2007 I had an Ishan that was probably around 2lb 13. I was getting really tired hands whilst batting. Switched this year to one of my Nasty Cricket Blasters, but at 2lb 8, and it has certainly helped! Still got the middle I need to hit the bigger shots, but the pick up...
