Roxburgh Park Broadmeadows Cricket Club - seeking professional/marquee player
The Roxburgh Park Broadmeadows Cricket Club is presently regarded as one of the most dynamic and progressive clubs within both the Victorian Sub District Cricket Association ("VSDCA") and the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association ("NWMCA") and has been the recent pioneer of revolutionary partnerships and programs such as the principle supporter of Cricket PNG's and Cricket Vanuatu’s "Future Stars" program.

Over the past 8 years, the club has reinvented itself and its brand and in July 2012 a go-forward partnership between what was formerly the Roxburgh Park and Broadmeadows Cricket Clubs was ratified resulting in the formation of the Roxburgh Park Broadmeadows Cricket Club. The club has a strong financial base, has enjoyed recent on-field success across the top 3 VSDCA XI's (VSDCA 1st XI finalists in 2010/2011 and 2011/2012, VSDCA 2nd XI Premiers in 2008/2009 and VSDCA 3rd XI finalists from 2003/2004 through to 2010/2011).

From Season 2013/2014, the Roxburgh Park Broadmeadows Falcons will be training, operating and playing out of Lakeside Drive, Roxburgh Park on a purpose built surface that has been under construction during season past, 2012/2013. The new home ground of the VSDCA 1st and 2nd XI Falcons will provide a wicket table and surface that will be considered amongst the very best in the VSDCA. The operating base of Lakeside Drive, Roxburgh Park will continue to be invested in by Council and 3rd party stakeholders in coming years as the facility is built into one of the premier sporting bases in North/West Victoria (cricket, football, netball, etc)

Following partnership of what was two former entities, the Roxburgh Park Broadmeadows Cricket Club presently fields 6 Senior teams (4 competing within the VSDCA and 2 competing within the NWMCA) and 6 Junior teams (in addition to a strong Milo program).
The merged entity that is the Roxburgh Park Broadmeadows Cricket Club is the largest and most senior cricket club in the Hume municipality with 180 Senior and Junior playing members, 300 club members and in excess of 3,000 indirect members. The projected forecast of the club has the club only growing over time.

The primary focus of the club is to secure a high quality Professional/Marquee player for Season 2013/2014 and beyond. A multiple Season contract will be considered based on mutually agreeable intentions. Whilst the primary focus for the club is on securing the required Professional/Marquee player to ensure the club continues to both develop and prosper, depending upon the candidate and their preferences - both the 1st XI Captaincy and Assistant Coaching positions can and will be discussed.

The Falcons are a cricket club who have been on the rise and are uncompromising in their pursuit of sustained success (across the club as a whole) moving forward. This is undoubtedly an opportunity for a motivated individual with a proven playing record who has a desire to contribute to something special and has a non negotiable attitude to cultural standards and a winning attitude.

The club is not limited in its views that the successful applicant will have either a proven Premier of VSDCA record. Individuals with extensive records within the VTCA and local competitions will be considered and discussed.

Key attributes that any applicant will need demonstrate:

· a proven playing record within Premier cricket, the VSDCA or VTCA (Senior Division). Candidates with records outside these competitions will still be considered where appropriate
· a high level of communication and interpersonal skills
· a preparedness to embrace the club holistically and take an ownership of the core cultural drivers of the club
· a high level of personal responsibility and accountability and a non negotiable understanding of the importance of integrity, team work and loyalty
· an understanding of winning cultures and commitment to sustained success

As aforementioned, whilst the primary focus of the club is to secure a Professional/Marquee player, consideration will be given to individuals interested in taking on leadership responsibilities including (but not limited too); the club's 1st XI Captaincy and Assistant Coaching.

For those interested in further information on the club, a Member Handbook/Value Proposition can be availed upon request.

Applications close Thursday 15 May.

All Applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

Forward your application, resume and expression of interest to

Hello,

Pannal CC, in North Yorkshire, Enlgand are looking for an overseas player for the upcoming 2014 season. Pannal play in the Nidderdale Cricket League. There have been several Dunstan Shield players go across and play for Pannal, mainly from Mont Albert (Tim Wright, Tim Hargreaves, Shahen Patel, Greg Cull, Travis and Jack Baker) plus Jarrod Crowden from Mulgrave. The team plays in the top division where the standard can vary a great deal from week to week.

There will be a lot of chances to play cricket with 22 one day game on Saturdays and a 20/20 league that runs on a Wednesday night, plus cup matches.

There is a tried and tested system in place at Pannal for overseas players which means that there will be an easy introduction to England. I'm sure any of the above would be happy to share info on their time at Pannal

Ideally we would be looking for a first team player from either Dunstan or A-turf. A seam bowling all rounder would be ideal, but not too fussed on this.

If you could pass this message onto any potential players at your club I would be greatful.

For more details I am contactable via email - robert.ellis1987@icloud.com

Cheers
