BDM Terminator

Re: BDM Terminator

Well hopefully once you've graduated to opener, you will be able to put it square between the keeper and 1st slip. When you can do that you know you deserve to be there :biggrin

Re: BDM Terminator

Just wondering, that extratec needs to be taken off, should i oil the bat again and put another sheet of extratec ( the plastic stuff) back on? It's been 2 years since i bought it, i think it needs a service :)

Re: BDM Terminator

Hi,
My son is fortunate enough to be fully sponsored by BDM cricket. If anyone would like to hear of our experience or ask any questions about the equipment we would be more than happy to oblige.

Re: BDM Terminator

If you get the genuine stuff (which being sponsored I'm sure you do) then it's decent kit. I know a few people who use it at the club I play for and they seem very happy with it.

Re: BDM Terminator

My son was signed by BDM for the 07/08 season with the agreement requiring him to promote a certain range of equipment. Last year he used the Terminator range. Once given the dimensions and weight, the bats are hand picked from the warehouse and the appropriate stickers applied. So far he has used three bats, all of which were excellent. Before signing with BDM JTL was using either a GM Purist LE or a GN Players, both top of the range. He could use any bat but needs to apply the correct stickers however, I can say with confidence he prefers to use the BDM bats over the others. With regards to the other gear it is all excellent, pads are great, gloves are as good as any, kit bag much better than the big brands. The only non BDM gear he uses is the helmet. (don't tell BDM) BDM are a very good company to deal with and certainly make quality cricket equipment.

JTL has previosly dealt with 'Sommers' and 'Impala' BDM would be our first choice.

Any particular questions?

Re: BDM Terminator

2005 part sponsorship (half price) with 'Sommers'
2006 part sponsorship with 'Impala" declined the offer.
2007/08 Full sponsorship with 'BDM'
BDM approached us.

NSW Combines Schools State team
NSW Metropolitan Emerging Blues - several years
NSW Country reps - numerous
First grade - (regional Country competion consisting of 8 x grades)

I often wonder how the Australian development programs compare with the UK system?

JTL is 15 years of age.
