how wont the franks make 170???? who is going to get them out?? chippa was playing 2's this time last year and everyone knows that gutto bowls to short so he takes away alot of chances of going out.
2 batsmen in red hot form and 4 other batsmen with runs just around the corner, the franks will bat first and post a 250+ score on a big college ground. franks to win and win easy
These guys in "red hot" form..........I cant see them in the top 10 list on mycricket, does this mean that the 2 college batsman in the top 5 are in "super red hot" form?? Heres the list so you can see:

1 Zealley, Craig Bundoora United Cricket Club 5 5 1 2 0 0 151 351 87.75
2 Wallace, John Eltham Collegians 5 5 0 1 1 1 100 232 46.40
3 Stewart, Leigh C Mill Park Cricket Club 4 6 2 0 1 0 91* 222 55.50
4 Smith, Jesse North Eltham Wanderers 5 4 0 1 0 0 155 218 54.50
5 Kennell, Luke Eltham Collegians 5 5 1 0 2 0 87* 197 49.25 141.7
6 Wunhym, Wayne Montmorency 5 5 2 1 1 0 100* 193 64.33
7 Flack, Grant Bundoora United Cricket Club 2 2 0 1 0 0 139 168 84.00
8 Hand, Travis Montmorency 5 5 2 0 1 0 64 162 54.00
9 George, Matthew Thomastown United 5 5 2 1 0 0 102* 161 53.67

i have every right 2 say what ever i like
i have faced both of these blokes in days gone by
gutto is sharpish but chippa is definately medium pace
neither of them are intimidating
at no time did i comment on whether they are any good or not both are handy bowlers

You also have the right to keep your mouth shut conidering you don't play against either!!

you may very well be right but are they intimidating ?
i think not
Playing with them I have no idea if they are intimidating or not and your right in saying that intimidation does not make a bowler good or bad.....look at Stan Apastola! The least intimidating bowler ever and hes taken 400 million wickets!!!!! :)

Good Luck at the weekend mate :D

gutto and chippa intimidating? hmmmmmmmmmm
i must have missed something
Having faced all the bowlers in Money Shield I can say that im extremely happy that Gutto and Chippa are on my team. 95% of the bowlers in the grade who think they cut the mustard are pretenders.

Re: DVCA Money Shield

Have u looked at North Elthams average age.
The oldest would be Al Mann (31), the youngest D Forster (15) (still playing juniors)
I believe the average is about 21.8, looking good for the future

Mill Park should take care of Panton Hill..... Should!
Yarrambat V Sth Morang to go either way... both good bowling attacks.
Im going to go with Bundy Utd over Thomo.... alot of runs lately alot of confidence.
Monty to fire up against NEW make or break for NEW.
Game of the round College V Franks... lets hope the rain holds off for this battle.
Whittlesea to stay there abouts with a win over Hursty.

Anybody played with the idea of a lightening premiership 20/20 comp b4 xmas on a weeknights.... surely the DVCA would get a heap of people turn up... eg Melb Vs Northcote at Binnak.

Re: DVCA Money Shield

Panton Hill v Mill Park - Mill Park should come away with the win. Although Panton Hill always dangerous with a few good players! Need mothcy to make 100+

Sth Morang v Yarrambat - Yarrambat to give Morang a spanking.

Bundoora United v Thomastown United - Thomo will win with George to take a bag. United arent that great..

Montmorency v NEW - Close game, could easily go either way but i will monty to win, whynum hitting them very well

St Francis v Eltham College - Another good game Franks to just get over the line, hopefully it doesnt rain should be a cracker of a contest

Whittlesea v Hurstbridge - Whittlesea to win

Good idea. We could hold it at the Frank's, enjoy the pristine Sycamore ground and utilise the shipping container clubrooms!

Silly Mid, we havent played Morang yet, how do they go? I know the bats are quite good, not damaging but would be the most disciplined attack ive faced. Morang the same?? Or more wayward but fiery?

the bat would hav to beat south morang, specially coming off some good innings with both bat and ball

i would say thomo over bund utd. big weekend 4 solyum i reckon

yes wanders deffinate must win for us but have had batsmen in recent good form eg. smith and young forster

ah eltham college and the franks. game off the season for me. mite go down and giv it a look.

Id say Morang have a pretty disciplined attack aswell.....and have the capabilities to be a tad fiery with the likes of...Peters, Mcdonald and Roderick all bowling handy paces.... Mkewon has only played 2 games for them????

MP v PH - Mill Park to win this one, wont be a easy game for them. Motch and collsy the keys for the hill and thomas and stewart seem to be the keys for mill park alot this year.

SM v BATS - Bats to win this, bowling attack very good and patient Morang need lester to fire a shot, if he is up a going morang seem to lift. bats in a canter.

BU v TU - Thommo to get the points here bundy cant make another 400 thommo attack lead by Matty George (the key to thommos success) and the wayward solly should keep them under 220 and should be able to get the runs due to bundy not having a strong bowling attack, zealley and hamilton seem to be the keys for bundy.

MONT v NEW - Will be a great game whoever bats first in this game will get the points, i feel both teams have strong batting lineups. wuynum and hand are the keys for mont and al mann and smith the key for NEW. I feel whoever bats 2nd will be chasing 280+.

EC v SF - Match of the Round will be a great game of cricket, College to get the points. Wallace, Kennell and the Stricklands the keys to college posting a good score for the franks duggin, lewis and berthet are the keys. home ground advantage to be a positive with the franks not used to playing on big grounds.

WH v HB - Whit to win this just bridges to put up a good fight and fall just short, but if jimmy atkins is fit and plays bridges will get the points.

smith is a sickooooooooo and j.young is very overrated should be playin 2's
