Fair point, this finals series is anyone's...

All teams in pretty red hot form, SM with wins against the odds, Yarrambat 7 in a row, North Eltham lost 2 games all year, Franks consistent all season.

Quick cherio to the College boys, pretty stiff to miss out in the 1's and 2's, sure to make for a steelier resolve next season...!

That's not what I heard from them last Saturday when Simmo and Chippa where on. They seemed to back Yarrmbat, and discussed promotion etc...

I wouldnt want to be those idiots from NE who decided to call a certain captain and ex coach from a club. LIttle word of advice, if your stupid enough to come and watch and then start trouble, calling and not hiding your caller ID probably isn't the smartest thing you could have done, especially to one particular ex coach and mentioning his family. Good luck to the franks, bats and SM for the finals. NE with any luck will be smashed out in round one!

making the 4 this season may just pay larger dividends than first anticipated. there is a fair bit of talk in the Barclay Shield thread, that on the DVCA agenda is consideration of a 3rd competetion. i wouldnt think clubs would vote it in, but it would be nice to see Eltham College go down to 3rd division.

I think it was more of a revenge act to the "wooden spoon" incident a few years ago. However, this was to more of an extreme extent.

from what the club has said the person involved has accepted the apology of the person who made the comments about his daughter but has decided not to accpet the apologies of two others who made calls from the club.i agree the comments were out of line hope those boys can work it out.

You can carry on as much as you like about the college missing out on finals, they should've beaten both Morang & St Francis when well on top, they beat NEW already and would have beaten Yarrambat with the 173 they made which was the highest score at the college all season in any grade, but that's cricket and we move on, no one to blame but themselves!

I also wouldn't expect NEW to put up much of a whisper this week if it's true they're carrying on and partying so much, and abusing people over the phone about there awesome season and they've still got to win another two games against good opposition, season must be over for them already by the sounds of it???

St Francis & Yarrambat looking the best bets IMO but If Morang can bowl as well as they have all season then they're a huge chance & they have nothing to loose as there's no pressure on them at all to win, should be an interesting weekend & good luck to all..
