Eca 2012/13

If they have lost Binney, then unless they have recruited heavily (even considering they still have a few decent players), they must be favourites for relegation.

For their sake you'd hope they have recruited. Haven't heard of any signings though....

Also heard Hoare is only 50/50 to play this season after his elbow surgery. That hurts the deepy attack with parsons dino and dinnison going to have to take a big work load

On another note which clubs have got an is player this year. I know mulgraves Malaysian is now not coming out, let alone coach. Have recruited a large man though

There was reference in previous posts to dinnison having a knee reco over the off season. With him and Hoare out who will be their strike bowler? Parsons?

Dinnison had a knee reco in early feb im fairly sure. Heard he's confident of being 100% for round 1. Still see parsons being their main wicket taking bowler though.

And who's this "large" recruit for mulgrave?

GI's have lost Stafford and not getting a pom this year, makes me think claims that parker not being paid are ridiculous.

AWCC now making a complete mockery of the ECA rules, Cooper and in addition Tyson Yeo of Richmond CC 1st XI as well as the small fortune being paid out to swift... a bottom line that surely challenges many small nations GDP.

On a cricket related note, what is everyone's thoughts re the Mulgrave night comp? seems like a fun idea and a bit of a laugh to get around a game under lights[/quote]

Is Yeo really a district 1's bowler?? wow!!

Is Shaw coming back out for Mulgrave?

GICC have lost Stafford, Taylor, Purcell & Jamieson havent they? Both spinners and 2 bat/bowlers. Depth to be tested or $$$ thrown.

Shaw=no head over the west gate if he comes out.

Nb= through where you picked him up from

Not sure how good two is (never seen or heard of him)

Does that Cheer you up

:) I'm doing cart wheels!

FYI Yeo played representative cricket as a junior for ECA, Inner East Emus, Richmond Dowling Shield. First XI cricketer at Scotch. Won ECA Dave Dickie Cup in early 2000s as best junior player in ECA. Good to see a player return to their junior club where it all started.
