England fall short in the run chase despite a century from Lumb on debut, fair effort from the WI to get up after being for down for not many in their innings.

Gee what a great effort from the Windies, was surprised to hear they ended up winning. Looks as if England fell apart at the end, not one player has a strike rate of over 100 which explains part of the story.

West Indies win the first T20 by 27 runs, helped by Samuels and some ordinary shots from England. Dernbach still getting a game, must have compromising photos of the selectors or something.

There is two certainties in the cricketing world. Sharma and Dernbach must play...

Token tattooed player selection? Dernbach is good when he gets it right. Unfortunately he never seems to get it right very often.

I must have blinked and missed it.

He has a good yorker and a good slower ball. I noticed against Australia in the T20's recently he didn't use the yorker much if at all, when he gets it right it's pretty effective although with his confidence as it is these days he hasn't really been getting it right much.

And England get a win in the final T20, Sammy needed a 6 of the final ball and was given a delivery that would've been a wide but put his bat out and made contact.
