52 more runs needed for victory. If the Irish keep their wickets, they have plenty of overs to spare, they could pull off a win here, which will be a great confiidence booster for them, and not to mention shut some of the mouths of the naysayers who think they shouldn't be there.

Awful AWFUL decision giving Botha out. The bat was nowhere near the ball. But Ireland are 81/4 from 27.3 overs when they go off for bad light and rain - 12 runs ahead on D/L. And the rain is only getting worse.

It'll be raining Guinness at the pub tonight!!!

Winning on D/L wouldn't be as good as winning on the pitch, but a wins a win, and this one is huge! What a day, two upsets!

Absolutely!! I spent most of the last 2 hours watching Bangladesh, but from the 2 replays I saw of that decision, it was flat out terrible! Let's hope it doesn't come back to haunt Ireland later.

Considering that it would eliminate Pakistan from the World Cup, and put Ireland in an excellent position to qualify for the Super Eights, it's far more than just a win. It would be monumental!!

The O'Brien boys doing well here. Being patient, cautious, and taking the runs where they can get them.
