I remeber a really bad one i got this year.
i faced a leg spinner who couldn't spin, and a short dilvery. I went for the pull but it was so slow it bounced under my bat onto my pad, went up, and then it hit the back of my bat (thats how early i swung, i had time to move the bat backwards) and it was caught by slips.

Yeah,I understand as the same happened to me two seasons earlier.
Had a miserable run and from then on i committed myself to first set my inngs and then go for the cut and pull especially on slow and low wickets.
