West Indies the major loser of the draw. Hard to think that one of Australia, Sri Lanka or the Windies won't be playing in the Super Eights stage of the tournament.

Ladders and results from all the games will be posted in here.

Re: ICC Twenty20 World Cup Groups, Ladders and Results Thread

India get looked after, that's a surprise.

Re: ICC Twenty20 World Cup Groups, Ladders and Results Thread

hmm that does look a tad suspect.. but India pays the ICC bills ... and they need to be in the next round..

Re: ICC Twenty20 World Cup Groups, Ladders and Results Thread

bangladesh says they can beat india - they did pretty well against australia yesterday and the bangladesh captain says that australia is the better team.

i hope they can pull that off, i like their team this year.
now just to inspire the irish to do the same thing.

strange that india has the easiest group, yet australia has the hardest. same thing happened in the last ODI world cup.

Some crucial fixtures coming up. England and West Indies play tonight, the winner of that game will make the semi-finals. Hard to believe that India are gone after being one of the favourites early on, I guess their soft draw didn't help them in the latter stages.

New Zealand play Sri Lanka tomorrow in what will also be a fight for a spot in the semis, Pakistan and South Africa are the teams through at the moment.
