ICC Twenty20 World Cup Tipping thread

Okay, with the start of the Twenty20 World Cup only a few days away, I thought it would be good to have a tipping comp to see who has the best cricketing knowledge in the International Twenty20 arena.

The top tipster will win $2000 worth of BCash with cash prizes going all the way down to 7th place. There will also be threads in the VBookie section of the site on the tournament so this is the perfect opportunity for you to increase your BCash bank balance!

Tipsters will have to tip in a number of categories and the winner will be the tipster who gets the highest number of tips correct.

The categories are as follows,

Leading Runscorer
Most Sixes
Leading Wicket-taker
Group Winners (A,B,C,D)
Semi-Finalists (four teams)
Finalists (two teams)
Winner
Player of the Series


There are 15 possible marks there so everyone will be marked out of 15, the winner will obviously be the person who gets the most tips correct.

Prizes

1st - $2000
2nd - $1600
3rd - $1200
4th - $1000
5th - $750
6th - $500
7th - $300


Plenty of incentives to tip so get your tips in and win yourself some serious cash.

Tips must be submitted by 4:30pm GMT on Friday 5th June.

Congratulations to a for effort who won the tipping competition with five correct tips. Kram81 and myself were tied for second with four and Boris finished 4th with 3 tips correct.

With Kram and I tying for second, the money for second and third place will be added up and divided evenly between us.

I will also tally up the money for 5th to 7th and divide between four of us since only four of us entered.

Money Totals

a for effort: $2387
Kram81: $1788
Ljp86: $1787
Boris: $1388

I've given Boris and Kram an extra dollar as the split for the lower money amounts was $387.50.

Possibly the easiest cash you can make and it was all for submitting a few tips!! @|

i like the way you said 4th instead of last... :p

at least i still get something for coming last i suppose... really was easy money.

is there tipping for all the different parts of the aussie's english tour?
