IPL Game 6 - Rajasthan Royals vs Kings XI Punjab at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur
Two of the losers from the first round of games face off here for a chance to get their records to one win and one loss.
Rajasthan were embarassed in their first game, thrashed by the Delhi Daredevils to the tune of nine wickets. The Royals batting was horrible and had to rely on their middle and lower order to get a respectable total which proved to be nowhere near enough to challenge the Daredevils. Rajasthan will be looking for a much improved batting effort to stay competitive.
The Kings XI's story was the exact opposite. Their batting was great but it was their bowling that was horrible. The Kings leaked 240 runs, the equivalent of 12 runs per over, a rate almost unheard of in any form of cricket. In reply, they scored 4/207 but it was still well short of their target. Their bowling will need to improve if they want to start winng games.
This match looks to be a promising encounter, two teams with a lot to prove after succumbing to defeat in the first round of games. Both the Royals and the Kings XI will be aiming to get their win-loss record back to an even keel.
