I don't know. I'm just asking for opinions and a discussion. :)

Who is the most successful international captain, who was a bowler? Not a batsmen or an all-rounder.

Most of the captains that come to mind weren't long term captains. Players who come to mind...Heath Streak from Zimbabwe, Mashrafe Mortaza of Bangladesh and Daniel Vettori of New Zealand in more recent times.

Walsh captained WI's in 22 Tests I see.

Edit: He captained them in 43 ODI's as well.

Of course Dan Vettori is basically an all-rounder so I can take him off haha.

Anil Kumble? Not a flash record though.

Even though he's pretty up himself it was always a pity Shane Warne was never made Aus captain.
