NMCA 21/22

Hats off to the northern socials cricket club for securing a spot in the Jack Kelly finals. After a rough start they really got it together and put some great sides to the sword. A truly remarkable and courageous effort. They will make a documentary about this some day.
Don’t sell the league short either, letting them drop down is a bigger farce. A league in dier straights right now.

Keon Park have all but penciled in a finals campaign with a solid performance against Old Ivanhoe, putting a line through their year. Some good form leading into a first round final against Camrea.

Rivergum demolishing Cobras to be expected.

Baseballers v Camrea the game to watch on the weekend. Should be an interesting chase, Camrea underwhelming with 208 on the board despite another ton from their skipper - no love lost between these two sides, plenty of lip by all reports. Home final on the line for Camrea.

Camrea cricket club are putting on a sausage sizzle 3.30 Saturday (tea break)
Hopefully that’ll please the opposition!!
Apparently fresh fruit and sandwiches don’t cut the mustard .
Shocking club Camrea. Someone should kick them outta the comp for scaring dog walkers, taking blokes houses and offering sandwiches. Worth going to court over. Maybe old mate Yes No Sorry will bankroll it with the 10 cents he found under his mattress.

I watched a cricket match between Camrea and Preston Baseballers 1st XI. It was a close game, but unfortunately, some of the Preston Baseballers players were disrespectful, bad-mouthing throughout the match and even refused to shake hands with the Camrea players afterwards. It's disappointing to see such behavior, especially from a club that should promote sportsmanship. One of the square umpires from Baseballers had to leave the ground due to the bad-mouthing, expressing frustration with the situation saying ******** this club ******** this people It's unfortunate to encounter such sore losers.

Will be an interesting day on Saturday if the predicted 39 degree forecast remains. What is the actual ruling with extreme weather?
Once it reaches 38 play ceases ?
Who knows with this comp now though. Rules on the go
