just an average side well what does that make your side when we had no trouble against your mob ?

fair call , all little of the mark i think . the parkers have enough quality and match winners to make finals .
still plenty of cricket to be played . you just need to be around the mark at xmas . its after xmas that the better teams will come to the fore . other than gladdy and maybe paco , other spots in 4 are open . syd are capable of making finals and kealba are still a little fragile .
the season is just starting to heat up with batters / bowlers and teams tuning their game for the big ones ahead .

big question at the moment is how ccc will respond to whats transpired in last cpl weeks . are they finished or will they stand up and challenge ?

how will kealba go this week after good effort against gladdy . will they get ahead of them selves .

how did danny go against his old side gladdy on the weekend . bat at 8 and have cpl overs at the tail ?

Please inform me as to who "lied through the pants"...
All of our blokes who were there (apart from gicky and 1 witness who admitted to only seeing it from afar) said all they saw was a wrestle..

Noddy admitted to hitting gicky 'with open hands' (assault), swearing at him (theres your abusive language) and wrestling with gicky afterwards (wrestling)..HE ADMITTED TO IT..so tell me where my club has "lynched" your player...

And if anything it was my comments that got your captain off..so not sure why were accused of lynching your club..

The reason for the disparity in the sentences is that one player hit another player, and admitted to as much at the hearing..

"Did you make contact to his face"
"Yes i did"

This is what "lynched" noddy, nothing anyone from my club had to say..

Noddy got reported for physcial assault to the face, wrestling, abusive language and bringing the game into disrepute..Hence the season sentence, which i feel was a tad harsh but you make your bed you sleep in it..

Gicky got done for wrestling, and bringing the game into disrepute..Hence the 3 weeks..Whch in my mind is a load of shit but we have to move on because as you say the appeal is with the same people..


As for the hearing, it was conducted with no NWCA people on the panel..so what was handed down was by an independent set of people..

Perhaps instead of getting on here and looking for people to blame, you should just not hit someone in the first place..

All of you CCC people out there, what do you guys feel would have been a suitable penalty for striking on the cricket field? Slap on the wrist?

Please dont attack the integrity of my club and accuse us of lying..if you think someone lied then come out and say who did and they will take it up with you..

Oh and by the way gibbsy, you keep referring to my post about the incident as a fairy tale..care to enlighten me as to anything that i said that was wrong..

This is where i dont understand your position mate..

No one from our club said that noddy swore.. Gicky said that noddy had said he wanted to knock his head off..

It was noddy, when giving his version of events, that said that he would "knock his effing head off"..

Had noddy not said anything there i think there would be grounds for getting off the abusive language charge, like there was with gicky as there would have been no evidence anything was said..So thats not PVCCC's fault buddy..

And noddy never said anything about gicky coming towards him, chesting him and pushing him away in self defence at the tribunal..all he said was that gicky said to him "why dont you then" and he pushed him away with open hands..Had he of used the self defence line then again, maybe his sentence would have been a lot less, i dont know..

These things you bring up all have to do with noddy's evidence, not ours mate..Had he said these things im sure he would have been better off..

As far as the camera gear/beer bottle attempted throwing goes, the QC on the tribunal made it clear that he wasnt charged with anything like that and therefore it was not at all relevant to the case..again, the decision on the jurors, not PVCCC..I didnt see the camera gear/alleged beer bottle attempted throw and therefore im not going to comment on it..CCC blokes tell me he did, PVCCC blokes tell me he didnt..who knows what to beleive and who is biased..

And if you check Marcus' notes from the hearing, I think you'll find that gicky admitted to starting the wrestle, hence his 3 week ban for wrestling..

He also admitted to being insensed and coming at noddy, not sure on your facts about him coming 4 times though..when i was out there he was furious and came at noddy at which point i escorted him myself along with our boys off the ground..either way you take it he was not going to get suspended for "coming at him" according to the QC as there was mitigating circumstances..

Again, we're both disappointed with the outcome..whats more disappointing is the insinuation that it was my club who caused your boy to get suspended..

You'll note no one else comes on here with their name..i did that for some transperancy in the story and to try and rely the message of what actually happened on the day, rather then have people come on here under alias' and spin crap about it..the advantages and disadvantages of a public forum i guess..i know now that big shots behind a computer will always outnumber your supporters and therefore its a waste of time, you just end up getting potted by blokes who know nothing of what happened..

To the blokes who have backed what i said, i appreciate it..to the others who just love stirring stuff up and bagging blokes anonymously, good luck to you..

Mate if you read over my comments again, I list two PVCCC players above..one being the defendant (gicky), the other the batsmen (cummings), both of whom i never listed as "eye witnessing the event". One batsmen was obviously involved, and the other heard the exchange..try and keep up mate..

The two people who saw the incident, admittedly from afar, include the fathers of two players..they are the two supporters who saw what happened..When the umpire asked me if any of my players had seen the incident, i said they hadnt, simply because...wait for it..they hadnt! I approached one of the fathers afterwards who told me what he had seen..something listed as above..but he wasnt comfortable going on the report sheet which is fine by me..

It was at this time that 2 players from CCC came over to apologise to gicky for what happened..at which time, the question of "what happened" was brought to the table..At which point both of these CCC players backed up gicky's version of events as to what happened..and both were thoroughly embarrassed with what happened..

I have never said i saw the incident, i said i saw the wrestle, along with most of my players, but after collating the evidence and having members of both sides agreeing as to what happened, as well as trusting the words of my players whom i have no reason to doubt, i have come on here and listed the truth as to what happened...or "truth" if you like..

Im not sure what you think may happen outside of 8 years of luscombe cricket that you think i need to learn, but please, you can pm with your identity if you like and we will have a good chat about what you feel i need to learn..

Again, not sure why u feel i have thrown a tantrum..I simply came on here to pardon my player of the bullshit accusations levelled at him..If gicky posted on this site i would let him do it myself..If i didnt come on here we would have ten CCC blokes on here spinning a story which was not "true" and gicky would be lynched before we went along tonight..

In terms of the "walkover" comment, that i will admit was said in the heat of the moment, but probably will not matter too much because if the rules are still as they are, if both players get suspended then myself and macca can possibly look forward to a holiday as well.. And i will tell you that there are a few players who i have spoken to at the club who agree with my position on that and will be thoroughly dissapointed should gicky be suspended..

Hope that explains it for you mate..Glad that you stick up for me but as i have said, if people dont like me or talk about me behind my back then so be it..thats something you cant change..

Last of all, if you think a captain getting on the front foot to protect one of his players is childish or pleading a case, then thats your opinion..to me it was something that needed to be done..

harey you boof head, it takes 2 to tango. what would of happened if gick just ignored noddy, NOTHING.

I tell you now boys Gladdy are a good team and have big hitters like they have proven year in year out, but when you play on a postage stamp it is easy to have a false sense of security about your own ability. You can not always hit yourself out of danger on big grounds! Yes they did beat the tip rats... Is the score an indication of the improvement of the tip rats or the decline of BIG BAD GLADDY??? Maybe the tips rats will suprise a couple of teams this year?? looking at the games played to date the tips rats could easly be 4-0?? Only 1 wicket away form a win against the flag favourites and 20 runs shy off buckley park??

Anyway in saying that I am confident we can brush them aside on the weekend??

And if anyone thinks Sydenham can make finals??? Go and watch them play a game of cricket......... then tell me if you'll put them in the top 4????

Apologies for not posting tip results for last round I am still waiting for confirmation of the winner of the cellar dwellars game.

My tips for this w/e
KGG v CCC game could either way

SYD v PVC if we are flag favourites then these boys would have to be a close second

BP v RP BUckley will be far to strong

BP v GP If the theory that we are only good on small grounds then this week should be a walk in the park, I would expect a very high scoring match

PVC V KGG cant go past Paccoe but if the rats get up it will really say something about how far they have come

SYD v CCC Campbellfield arent us bad as everyone makes out they are just getting flogged on here because of all the preseason hype they created for themselves.

NOt much said about Gladdy playing Telford for the first time since he left
