One season doesn't make the player. I think he's been fairly good for Epping the past few years. Mind consider half his games are being played on the slowest field in the comp. There's certainly worse players shopping themselves around!
 
Lower Plenty have been busy on the recruiting front so far....Dont know too much about the blokes they have landed but it seems as though they have gone hard at trying to strengthen that batting line up

Anybody else got anything to share, especially from Barclay Shield. Should be an interesting year with Riverside losing a heap of players, opens it right up for probably 3 or 4 sides to probably win in next season.

Who have Lower signed and who have Riverside lost? If you name them, maybe we can help you with their histories.

They’ve done a lot of recruiting over the past few years but perhaps at the expense of their junior program. They’ve gone from having it all over the neighbors down the hill as far as junior teams and potential to now struggling, whilst Mont have increased numbers and gone from something of a struggling outfit to now back in the top flight and more of a force. I’d be interested to see where Lower are at in 5 years time. If they don’t stabilise and increase their junior program, they could be in trouble down the track.

Not the first time Lower has gone through this cycle with their junior program in relatively recent times.
Loss of corporate memory is always a problem for cricket clubs, but it does seem to have been a particular issue for Lower.

Can you confirm or deny that your spoken to Eltham or Research regarding a coaching position??
