Super Eights - Australia vs Bangladesh at Cape Town

This game is well underway with Australia playing Bangladesh.

A lot more subdued Bangladesh this time around and they are struggling to score runs.

They are 3/86 after 14 overs with Mohammad Ashraful just falling to Stuart Clark for seven.

Bangladesh's batsmen haven't been able to score really quickly with only two batters able to score with a strike rate of over 100. Ashraful was the first and Shakib al Hasan is the other but he is 1 not out. Tamim Iqbal is the top scoere with 32

Clark, Johnson and Clarke are the wicket-takers for the Aussies.

Oh my God, Breatt Lee gets a hat-trick!!!!!

17th over of Bangladesh's innings, Lee's 3rd ball see Shakib al Hasan edge to Gilchrist for 16. Lee then bowls Mashrafe Mortaza with his next ball and the final ball traps Alok Kapali LBW.

Brilliant stuff by Lee and Bangladesh slump to 6/112.

That was the first ever hat-tribk in Twenty20 Internationals.

Bracken picks up Aftab Ahmed for 31 and there goes Bangladesh's chances of getting a few boundaries off this last over.

7/120 with 3 balls left of the innings.

Another one!! Farhed Reza bites the dust, slogs down the ground but Michael Hussey takes the catch just inside the boundary.

No hat-trick for Bracken but Bangladesh finish at 8/123, barely over 6 runs per over.

I don't think that's going to be anywhere near enough.

Aussies should knock these runs off pretty comfortably.

0/86 after 9 overs at the moment. Won't be too much longer before they reach the target.

Hayden belted the Bangladesh attack early and is 49 off 31. Gilchrist was slow to start with and played the support role but he too is starting to tee off and is 35 from 24.

Gilchrist is run out for 43 after a great throw from Mushfiqur Rahim in the deep.

It doesn't matter though as Australia have reached the target very easily in the end, making 1/124 from just 13.5 overs.

Matthew Hayden remains not out on 73 from just 48 deliveries with Ricky Ponting 6 not out from 8 balls.

An easy win for the Aussies, Bangladesh just weren't good enough in the end and Australia have taken victory by nine wickets.
