Competition is the ultimate driving force.Why the need for these additives, which are supposedly to enhance shelf life, taste and flavor, when we ate natural ingredient foods growing up and were bloody healthier for it.
2.Another reason is the wide-spread demanding attitude of consumers expecting all kinds of food to be always available. Neither side steps back.
3. Did we eat natural ingredient foods because we preferred it or because nothing else was on offer?
