One of my colleagues is a regular flyer between Ireland and Liverpool airport as his parents live in Ireland, he tells us that there are loads of Indian nationals flying into Ireland and onto Liverpool lately, he reckons it's so they can avoid quarantine rules if they fly directly into Heathrow 🙄

Especially if they help you save time. :) Yep, it comes with an app but I don't need it really since the robot does what it's supposed to do anyway. The app might be useful if you want to re-programme it while you are not at home.

That is a bloody joke. It was the Indians that developed the Delta variant that has infected much of the western world.

Not sure if they "developed" it. It just occured there while it could have occurred elsewhere as well. Look at Brazil and SA where other strains popped up. How virulent a given strain is is not predictable.

Totally agree. Hopefully they'll be stopped sneaking in the back door.
I'd be happier if our borders were shut, we're an island so shouldn't be too difficult to monitor.

I was once offered free garden services by a community group, I was suspicious so did some research, the 'community group' turned out to be convicted criminals on community service, I turned it down pronto 🙄

In fact, I was away the whole day on Thursday and left the robo to itself. Heard no complaints from neighbours... So it can behave itself. :D Its capabilities are limited. All that can happen is that it gets stuck somewhere and doesn't reach its port anymore. Then I'll lend it a hand.
The interesting bit is Sari trying to build a relationship with this moving and silent invader. Sometimes she ignores it completely and then again starts barking at it posing like a real killer before retracting again because the robo doesn't react at all and stubbornly keeps doing its job. Very funny.🤗
 
Sydney is about to get a rude awakening from its mild winter as icy Polar winds sweep in over next few days. We had 20c two days ago expected to drop to a brisk 6c max on Thursday.bbbrrrr.🥶
 
6° c are not worth mentioning in our winter period. 20° are summer temps which we've been having for some time now. Has been a wonderful summer so far with temps between 20 and 30°C and RAIN almost regularly. The alternative is droughts. There's nothing in between any more. True, in the western parts of Germany there have been more thunderstorms and torrential rain. So they are being fed up a bit.
