With more and more military weapons and almost unbrided support from Europe and other nations like Australia, and an exhausted Russian military, man power and economy, who needs the material support from the US? Although US intelligence support is vital but that's depends on Frump's unpredictable whims that change daily. Germany, Poland, France, Britain, Finland, Baltic states ..., and our Australia are toughening up military wise because of Russia, and China too in our case.
At least the US is keen on "Freedom of Speech", which cuts both ways. They give free reign to disinformation and conspiracy theorists. I know we get some of that too in Oz.

King Charles just addressed the Canadian parliament saying nice things about Canada's Sovereign country, not mentioning Thrump wanting Canada, but everyone knew what he meant about Canada as the US's 51st state; Trump also hinted at our Sovereign Australia as a 52nd US state! He's dreaming! 😴
He sure makes nations and billions of people hate him. Yanks too who voted for him. 😂 He's a global liability. A right royal flog.

Still, despite political leanings, a strong mid right Opposition under Ley would be good for our democracy, even independent and small loony parties deserve a voice, imho. Better that than they take to the streets and it's good to hear the extreme voices of disent, to see where they're at. One Nation for example that my eldest loves, and flog Palmer ... That's fine by me, my girls are as right as I am left leaning. Immigration is their beef. I believe it's necessary, especially for our ageing population. Quality immigration we controll, not queue jumpers.

As for Trump, he's unhinged in many ways. Back peddling hard now because he had no clue about economics. Will his ardent followers be happy paying double for their I phones made in Chi-nah? 🤔🤣

As for Trump's future, it's as unpredictable as he is. Still, his history is already being written, with a big red pen! 🖍

Had he done this in his first term, no way is he being voted back into power. I was looking at a graph about nations debt rating and the US is by far the worst. That was up to before Trump was re elected so betting their new rating is now astronomical.

The US deficit is huge at 72 US $ trillion but that includes NGO's and private OS debts. Half of the 72 trillion is a US government debt at 36 trillion.
Listening to a savy economist on our ABC he said most of the US's huge deficit was due to their over spending....💵💸💴💵💸💷💶💳🧾💰💶💸💸💸💵💶 not OS economic plundering but a lot of the US seeking cheap labour overseas, for profit and themselves diminishing their own manufacturing for profit."Greed is Good" crap...

I spent hours chatting to Meta AI about this and other issues. Meta coined the phrase "malignant narcissism" for Trump, which I like to happily pass on.
Asking about my negative comments about Trump and free speech, and its repercussions she gave me the green light, but US citizens might get lash back from the US's thought police. So I happily stand for the bewildered US people in fear of reprisal.

At a time with pandemics, inflation, severe weather events, global warming, wars, genocides, Capitol rioters pardoned, sea level rises, cyber crime, war criminals favoured over once allies and treated harshly ... we got Trump as a rancid desert. This seems like a pivotal point globally, in many ways.
I hope the US will rise from the Ashes of an Authoritarian Despot. not worthy nor capable of leading coherently. Yoyo man with a nasty bent.
I do like the way our Australia has been so supportive of Ukraine and the innocent Palestinians in Gaza. Not Hamas. Too right. We're a decent people in Australia but know BS when we hear it, mostly, my Ex wasn't good that way.🙄
As for Trump's desired noble peace award, considering his enablement of supporting Israel's ethnic cleansing in Gaza, he is complicit and not worthy of such an accolade. He's a flogger to his bones with little emparhy..

The big issue is that Turmp is giving big tax cuts to the rich costing up to US$3,000,000,000,000 which is about twenty times Musk's Doughe cuts.
So many vicious chain saw cuts affecting struggling Americans, many who voted for Trump, all for nothing with big tax cuts to the rich, at the expense of the poor, pushing up the US deficit by about three trillion US dollars. 🤪💸💸💸

Israel is murdering Palestinians as they try to feed their starving bodies at humanitarian centres. EFFING ATROCIOUS AND THEY HAVE TO BE STOPPED. 😡 Syria didnt like it and fired rockets onto empty land which prompted the IDF to respond disproportionately as they have always done. Turkiye which is trying to reform Syria needs to step in and stop the war mongering Netanyahu and his cronies and allow the poor, war ravaged Syrian people to again have peace.

That was indeed a brilliant strategic move by the Ukrainians Craig. I heard those 34% of Putin's heavy Bombers destroyed were the ones able to drop nuclear weapon bombs. I hope that impressed Trump. He likes winners.

Obviously, the US doesn't care who they sell Arms to, so hopefully Ukraine can get discounted Arms too, without any tariffs or surcharges? And a golden dome missile defence system.

Like Hitler 🇸🇯 invading Russia in WWII, Defenders have several important advantages, like Britain in WWII, and they are smart like the Brits and Yanks in WWII. The US troops in WWII distinguished themselves many times nobly fighting, with great losses, to free Europe from Hitler's tyranny.

US law is such that massive tariffs are the under the jurisdiction of the US Congress.

He's gone and trampled over Congress's right to make those grand scale decisions further pushing the boundaries of US Law.
Even some Republicanss are somewhat miffed at what the tariffs are doing to the US. Golly-gee, the ranks are starting to break. I hope so for the damage and confusion in global markets that "one" man caused ....

Economics 101: tariffs hurt everyone but mostly the tariffing country, ie the US.
