Twenty20 World Cup 2007 Squads

Australia have named their squad of 15 which is:

Brett Lee is included in the squad despite not having played in a long time.

Cameron White was very unlucky to miss out as he is one of Australia's best hitters.

Of course Shane Watson has been selected as it seems he is for everything.:rolleyes:

England have gone with a specialist line-up here. All of these players have done very well for their counties in the Twenty20 County Championship. Looks as if they are set to have a serious crack at winning this tournament.

Cameron White would have been handy for his power hitting, I would have picked him. His bowling is next to useless though.

I believe Cameron White is one of Australia's best Twenty20 players and easily in the best 11. He has shown this in the domestic competition over the last couple of years. I think the selectors have not gone for a specialist Twenty20 team and this could cost us the tournament. The English selectors have made the right decisions in selecting a specialist Twenty20 team and this will be of great advanatge to them.

That's the final two teams to be named for the Twenty20 World Cup. Zimbabwe fans will be pleased to note that Tatenda Taibu is back for the Zimbabweans after a period of exile from the country. He should add some stability in the batting deapartment which has demonstrated at times to be very fragile.

Kenya have also named their line-up with Steve Tikolo the skipper. Not sure how they will fare, their latest performance against India's "A" side was less than encouraging.

Should be a great World Cup though, new tournament to all players and word is that tickets are selling rather well. Looking forward to this.

Hilfenhaus picked to replace Tait who is out with an elbow imjury.

Good selection IMO.
