2 Tests, 3 ODIs.

Nov 6 - 10 1st Test - Kolkota
Nov 14 - 18 2nd Test - Mumbai

Nov 21 1st ODI - Kochi
Nov 24 2nd ODI - Visakhaptnam
Nov 27 3rd ODI - Kanpur

Really just a series that is a tailor made farewell for Tendulkar on his home dungheap, of course the wickets will be absolute highways.

Pretty piss poor batting from the Windies at 6 for 176. Shami has bowled very well, but an ordinary shot from Powell, stupid run out to lose Bravo and Sammy trying to smash Ojha for 6 but only succeeding in picking out the fielder at long off..

Got to see some of it. When will they realize that Ramdin is crap? He's a specialist keeper yet he's not even a very good wicket keeper.

Most of them got themselves out but Shami did bowl well on debut as you say.

Tendulkar falls to a dicey LBW decision off Shillingford, no drs suck it up. India in a bit of trouble now at 4 for 83..

edit - oh and now he gets Kohli as well for just 3, this is great stuff! 5 for 83.

IIRC Shillingford got pulled up for his action initially, might have something to do with it. West Indies really need to get a wicket now, Sharma and Ashwin starting to look quite comfortable.

So the Rohit Sharma juggernaut continues 127*.. Ashwin 92*. West Indies will be very disappointed to let them drift out to 6 for 354 after being in a strong position earlier in the day.

lol, Kholi copped it right in the goolies trying to field the ball in the covers, he's even had to off. West Indies going alright in their 2nd innings only losing Gayle with a total of 93, trailing by 126 and still in a lot of trouble though.

Well hardly surprisingly the WI have fallen in a heap to 8 for 152 and this will be over tonight. Surely the West Indies can find someone other than Sammy to captain the Test side, he can't bat or bowl..

But he's a nice guy...? In all seriousness, who else do they have that could captain? Gayle has captained before but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't give it back to him seeing as it's not his favourite format and Chanderpaul always seems like on another planet haha. I don't think they have anyone else atm.

Yeah I guess their other options are limited, but at Test level it's just too much to carry someone that clearly isn't ever going to be up to it in either discipline, plus stuff like his shot in the 1st inning is hardly showing leadership.. On Chanderpaul went to my 1st cricket game at the WACA in 90s and he was fielding on the ropes against SL, in the flesh, the bloke is tiny. I was a very slightly built at 14 and I reckon I was almost the same size as him. Underrated batsman really, has a great record, maybe looking so unorthodox works against him?

I don't know how Chanderpaul does it. I don't often get to watch him bat but he looks like a tail-ender haha. He looked fidgety and awkward in the Test but they couldn't get him out in either innings. Massive underrated batsmen but you can see why people underrate him haha.

I haven't seen a hell of a lot of him in resent years either, but the commentators were making the point that as funny as it looks initially he does actually manage to get himself in quite a decent position when eventually striking the ball.

Yeah he does and I believe he must have excellent hand-eye co-ordination.

Apparently Chaunderpaul had the whole 'everyone in the village bowling to me' situation that you hear about from WI and also like a lot of them his stance etc is all self-made (saying that, wouldn't it be great if there was a coach with a team of batsmen who had the Chaundarpaul technique).

Big loss for WI with Roach heading home, there's not too many genuine quicks around at the moment with a test record like his (145kph+ consistently and averaging 27).

Surprised India didn't bat first even with a bit of green in the pitch, West Indies not going too badly at 2 for 93 at lunch losing Gayle and Bravo.

lol, Sammy goes for a duck facing his second ball attempting a slog sweep only succeeding in hitting it straight up in the air Seriously ridiculous shot from a captain, there was even a deep midwicket out there to beat as well..

WI slump to 8 for 167 with Shillingford also going now going for 0.
