A couple of gun baseball players (ex now) have secretly requested a clearance to go to Rosebank

Who are these players CB? I also hear that big bad Ed Banovac has rejoined the club after a couple of years in the west

Hello brothers, hope all have a great start to the season and everybody enjoys themselves, good luck to all, to our opponents..we wish you good health but not good luck :) Great time of the year and look forward to catching up with all the NMCA boys during the season! Also really looking forward to the fantastic show Crooksy and co will host this season on Plenty Valley FM 88.6 from 9.00am onwards.

Re: NMCA(formerly Jika) '08/'09

This comp is a joke and a disgrace.

Our 2nds in Jika reserve don't get umpires yet our 3rds have.

WTF is going on down there??
Bill anderson has got alot to answer for.

Can anyone who is on the board or head of the umpires explain this?

Where in the world is a 3rd eleven team rated higher than your 2nds.
It could only happen in this comp which is laughed at by others.

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE BY THE NORTH METRO.

Re: NMCA(formerly Jika) '08/'09

we had six new umpires who had to go with a senior umpire. we could not put them in higher grades . as it was there first game .also we had five senior umpires pull out today. it had nothing to do with bill anderson bob hunter

Surely most of these blokes would have played cricket before a been capable of umpiring by themselves. Anyway enough about umpires. Some interesting results to start the season off yesterday.

Re: NMCA(formerly Jika) '08/'09

Some very interesting results indeed!!

Trinners getting off to flyer in A grade.

Northcote united smashing druids first up.

Cameron getting smashed off the park after having gone down a grade.

And Rosebank beating last years premiers looking the goods early.

Any thoughts on rnd one results??

Re: NMCA(formerly Jika) '08/'09

we all have days !
Just most of mine are more often than not !
I think a few things come to mind after the weekend ....

Rosebank gonna be as strong if not as strong as they have ever been.
Northern socials could be the whipping boys for the year.
Rivergum are they the real deal ?
Cameron might find it a little harder than first thought ....
Jack Quick going to be as close as always !
Nick Christie a super all rounder

Christie has 3 votes on his way to another Tollit Medal, Perry and the new "to and from" form YCW, Carnell would also be certain 3 voters in round one of JQ

I hope there is enough umpires about to give votes in the three main grades in the next few rounds???

Alternatively you could quit whinging and tell those in the NMCA about this thread.

This topic was dying well before the merge. Funnily enough, every other thread has seen an increase in traffic.
