What a nice surprise, Jessica. Thanks for your heartfelt message. The extra effort you have taken means a lot to me. If I managed to get across what you are describing, I'd be pleased. Your words are spot-on. After so many years with her in the centre of our life, everything reminds us of her and a number of things will be left as they are just in remembrance of her. She's been cremated separately and her ashes are going to be buried on our ground.Sorry to hear this Thomas. I can tell by the pics that she was one of the family. Well loved and cared for. May she rest in peace![]()
With humidity being so low, there can't be so many thunderstorms then. Is that right?Heat waves in Perth (>40C) typically have low humidity, about 10% to 30%. That hot dry heat is bearable but 70% to 80% is awful.
Here are some telling graphs:

Not much thunderstorms in our Summer months except when a cyclone comes from the north sliding down partially to Perth. Then the weather can be unbearable and my evaporative air conditioner just makes it worse. With humidity being so low, there can't be so many thunderstorms then. Is that right?
That's a lovely gesture Thomas, burying her ashes in your garden will mean she's never going to leave you. There's nothing like the pain of losing a beloved dog. It's coming up to 10yrs now since my little Pumpkin left me and there's not a single day that I don't think about her. She was cremated too, her ashes scattered in the woodland where she loved to explore,What a nice surprise, Jessica. Thanks for your heartfelt message. Great news, no surgery!Hi Jessica, great to see you back.![]()
8 weeks after my injury I'm still slowly healing and no surgery thank goodness.
Great your fractured wrist and head wound are well on the mend too.
As an old fellow myself I know now it takes longer to heal as we get older...
My walking wounded Pool/Billiards crew are testimony to that.
Best wishes to you and your mum.

It's looks like an Australian or New Zealand sign to meJust in passing, how would you interpret this road sign?
Does it refer to the street in Vancouver or to Hastings in the UK?
