Thanks Terry. Yep I was lucky in that I broke my fall before I could face plant onto the concrete pavers. Good reflexes for an old fart.Take care and recover well Craig. Nothing broken at least.
Spot on must be in Australia unless UK , NZ or Canada have koalas (not a bear Jessica) in their natural habitat as Australia does. It's looks like an Australian or New Zealand sign to me![]()
I'm relieved that nothing got broken. Welcome to the club. I also nearly broke my wrist not long ago. You may remember my post..Thanks Terry. Yep I was lucky in that I broke my fall before I could face plant onto the concrete pavers. Good reflexes for an old fart.
Many Aussie farmers hate and shoot them for economic reasons.
That's sad.
They are not carnivores as joked calling them "Drop Bears".
An Aussie joke to scare tourists !... but no joke about our protected crocs and sharks.
Agreed many were shot humanly after bush fires and I looked for but failed to find the article on farmers culling Koalas. Maybe I was thinking of Wombats? Why would they shoot them? I recall those pics showing burnt koalas in the trees after the big bushfires.Very sad.
Our muscles waste as we age, reason we have to be more vigilant and sensible. I do leg and arm lifting exercises. Something as simple as lifting a pair of soup cans one in each hand is sufficient or sit and lift your legs and hold them for however many seconds you can take. Also move feet back and forwards at same timeI'm relieved that nothing got broken. Welcome to the club. I also nearly broke my wrist not long ago. You may remember my post..
