Last week I spotted the reports about the Spotty CY's game and had a little chuckle, but did not think it worthy of a reply. But it's starting to get out of hand....
I was there for a short time and actually had a chat to a few of the Spotty 2nds having their party, including TOBB. (I didn't...

I still have a look every now and then, although I must say there is little of interest now days. Where was the invite? Have they repaired the 18th green and have you been banned for life?
Re: Senior Seconds 09/10
Well done to AN. Shame that they now go back to North Division and can't defend next year.
I didn't get to the game, but from the scores it looks like a few outstanding individual performances on both sides.
Re: Senior Seconds 09/10
What a wet end to the year for 3rd and 4th.
Those who've looked up MyCricket will see there was not even a start at the Fearon. If you're interested the story was......We got the covers down on Thurs night on what looked like a belter of a pitch. Come Sat morning...
Re: Senior Seconds 09/10
Should be an interesting couple of finals starting tomorrow. AN and APW have been the form teams all year and deserve to be favourites.
But, StB have been thereabouts and a decisive win against the previously undefeated APW in the last round must give them a bit of...
Re: Senior Seconds 09/10
Quiet again.
Looks like StB are well placed with a big score on their track hard to chase down you'd think, even for AWSC. That gives AN a good chance to finish top, followed by AWSC, CY's then StB.
In the seniors, relegation is still very uncertain. RPB seem...
Re: Senior Seconds 09/10
Some interesting results and washouts on the w/end,leaving the battle for 3rd and 4th alive going into the last round.
The OEG declaration looks unlikely on paper, but not having been there to see the track....Tehn to roll Spotty so quickly. TOBB, we're looking for...
Re: Senior Seconds 09/10
Nothing wrong with the 3rds! Played there last week and we even had 2 umpies at the Fearon. Jika does take it all a bit seriously, but once you get over that we have alot of fun. If you were bowling against us there's even a better than even chance of a few poles...
Re: Senior Seconds 09/10
We've had 2 umps once (at RPB) and 1 once (at OEG) and that's it this year. I can't remember having an ump at home in the last 3 years in the seconds. They must be allergic to the sea air or the comp thinks that they'll get distracted by the scenery walking to the...
Re: Senior Seconds 09/10
It's gone a bit quiet on here recently. The higher placed teams all seem to be well placed half way through this important round (RPB v SC don't have scores up yet, but their both out of contention you'd have to think.)
By the end of this round we may see CY's and...
Re: Senior Seconds 09/10
I suppose that we figured that if they can get 340, we won't deserve a win. Plus, being out of the 4, with rounds running out, we may as well have a go at rolling them twice, even if it is a long shot.
I wondered if there might have been a few grubbers at RPB...
