the meaning of under rated is viewbank
no one gives us a chance ever but we can hold our own,we had the best team in A grade heidelberg 6/90 but then the rain came lol so we hav proven we have the ability to do well but yeah
get on the banker boys bright future ahead

Mitchell Hand is stiff at 11. He was batting supremely the other week, i think he outscored Dan Kelly actually.

looks pretty good to me ari,
lynn from rosanna and pietsch from west ivanhoe also could easily fit in there
underrated players

scott becker close to the most overrated player in the hdca
sachin anand should definitely be in there!!!!!

Hand isn't stiff at all, the only reasons possible for him to have outscored kelly would've been the rain, kelly was in early when the ball would've been doing plenty, where as hand was in late when the pressure was of and the ball wouldn't have been doing anything

A lot of good young players coming through the juniors in the hdca atm and looks promising for their clubs futures

ill just put my opinion of the best under 17 side down

1. Anthony Dorrington
2. Michael Kamay
3. James McClean
4. Arjun Arora
5. Josh Henkel
6. Jack Viola
7. Liam Henkel
8. Matt Jackson
9. Michael Hannan
10. Sachin Anand
11. James Love

I would have Seb Nicolosi in there but given he has about 4/5 more years of under 17s left i think ill give the boys who are playing there last years of 17s a game lol

and ofcoarse i would also have big Adam Renwick in the team if he was still playing juniors in the hdca, the kid can play :D

thoughts????

the under 14's will go terribly because they are just terrible..
lost to many good players due the under 14's falcons
the under 16's will go extremely well
they have a very strong bowling attack with macdowell and love opening up both who were very unlucky not to make falcons..

hdca 14s are actually a joke,
dvca beat them by 10 wickets in the tri series and some bloke got a hat trick
not to mention 5 hdca boys made golden ducks
not too good

2 spinners is fair bold but besides that you have got a fair good side, but y no sammy brook?

liam henkel has just come off a 111 in third grade i believe,
only the very best batsman can get to the magic 100 playing seniors as a junior ari gold....

Yes did play the 3 spinners, but liam henkel wasnt in the side for his bowling. Sachin and Matt are two very good spin bowlers and definately worthy of a spot.

Liam has made the most runs easily so far this year in the under 17s and also shown very good form in the seniors with over 230 runs in his last 3 hits including a ton which definately earns him a spot.

Sam Brook, in my opinion not worthy of a spot in this team, you can see he does have some potential but has failed to impress from what ive seen. Actually would struggle to get in my 2nd XI when you compare him to some of the others that missed out. :D

A lot of players stiff to miss out which is a good sign for the hdca showing their improved depth of under 17s this year.

harsh on henkel,
has made a truckload of runs this season,
including a ton in third grade

i think people are seriously overlooking the efforts of brendan moncrieff.
he does a superb job keeping for the heidelberg u/17 green side.
his witty calls are quite brilliant also.
