on another note, up and coming quick jack gilham has been likened to international players such as dale steyn and brett lee.
after "semi-dislocating" his finger in training he turned to pace which has been a great move on his part.

From what i have gathered there is some definite inclusions so hear is the side that i believe we be the strongest

1. Michael Kamay
2. James McClean
3. Josh Henkel
4. Jack Viola
5. Liam Henkel
6. Chris Strongman
7. Michael Hannan
8. Sachin Anand
9. Michael McDowell
10. Matt Jackson
11. James Love

emg: Brentnall, Arora, Brook


any idea on who would claim captain in the side?

i think that maybe josh henkel could do the job
maybe even matty jackson as he is the captain of dowling

Jack Viola a born leader that brings his teammates into the game with encouragement and stands up when hes required with that bat and ball like all captains should, be able to lead from the front. Knows how to set a field and a very smart cricketer.

Also think Dorro is very stiff to not get in that squad of 14. Two of those 3 emergencies are very overrated from my point of view and could easily find other players more worthy of a spot.

Strongman cant captained he hasnt evn peformed this year, mate his lucky enough just to be in the side hasnt made a score all yr besides wat was described as a shaky 21, same with matt jackson

good point
so why did u pick him in your side?
as you can see with the side i picked i didnt think he was worthy of a spot and certaintly not the captaincy. Might have done well back in the dvca but until he performs in the hdca i wouldnt have him in the team.

Also good to see someone that was pretty dominant in the dvca come across and struggle in the hdca, might not be as easy as what these diamond valley boys think :D

omg!!! thank you, hey mate i dont want him in the side just people kept raving on about him, i have only put him in purely on wat i have heard of the guy

but you could also argue that james love and daniel cookson have been very good since coming to the hdca

dont want any crybabys thanks..
harkin should be in there, instead of lincoln
hopefully that is not the batting order
young michael gough is unlucky to miss, bowls a worrying line
maybe pietch from west is unlucky to miss
i also heard he got cookson caught behind the wicket.. he must be alright, and i see that he can make a score or two
