Mills out on the last ball of the day! Patel swung one in late and it struck Mills at the base of the pad and that is plumb. Mills gone for two and NZ are 3/75, 166 behind now.

Good day for India, they really extended their lead with the bat and now two late wickets has put the game well in their favour. NZ with all the work to do.

New Zealand were bowled out for 279 in their second innings which is exactly what they made in the first. McCullum made 84, Flynn 67 but the rest could only muster a few starts with the tail helping McCullum make sure India would have to bat again.

Harbhajan Singh cleaned up the New Zealand middle and lower order finishing with neat figures of 6/63.

India's target is only 39 and they're 0/19 in the third over. Gambhir's opening with Dravid, not sure why Sehwag isn't there and O'Brien has a side strain and also isn't on the field.

Too easy for India, they reach the target in the sixth over, Gambhir went berserk at the end, scoring 30 from only 18 balls.

That's India first win in New Zealand for 33 years.

I'll edit in the results and essentials when I get back from work.

Kiwis look good in the first innings at 3 for 247, Taylor on 125 and Ryder on 89.

The pisstank got his hundred, Blackcaps in a nice position at 4 for 351 at stumps.

Getting pretty ugly for India, NZ are 7/616, Ryder scored 201, Franklin was run out for 52, Vettori made 55 and McCullum is 115 not out.

Zaheer Khan has 3/129, been their best bowler of the innings.

Just as I say that, McCullum is out to the dud Sharma for 115. Poor ball outside off but McCullum drills it to Tendulkar at deep point on the boundary and is caught.

8/618, Patel on one and O'Brien is in now.

New Zealand declare at 9/619, Patel was out for one after flicking Harbhajan Singh to mid-wicket.

India now have the task of chasing NZ's first innings score, they're 0/9 from one over. Sehwag has eight of them.

Sehwag goes for a big slog sweep off Vettori but can only edge it behind to McCullum, totally unneeded from Virender.

1/50, Gambhir on 10, Dravid 2.

The Second test match ended in draw with the Indian Batsmen(almost all of them) played an important role in it.

All the batsmen are in form scoring at the right time.
India somehow managed to draw the test.
The Third Test should be interesting with New Zealand desperate for a win and India to win the Test Series.

Third Test Match at Wellington.
Having put to bat by NZ; India scored 379 runs.
They bowled out NZ in 197 runs with Zaheer taking 5 wickets and harbhajan 3 wickets.
Now in 2nd inngs India are 51-1 having Gautam and Dravid batting.
Still 3 days are left if India can bat for the whole day tomorrow have a target of 450+ runs for NZ.
Then they have ample time to bundle out NZ.
Tomorrow's day is important for both the teams.

India are 3/269 at tea, lead by 451 runs.

Gambhir is on 151 not out, he is some great form. Vettori has a couple of wickets and Chris Martin has one.

Gambhir's finally out, O'Brien lands the new ball on leg stump, Gambhir tried to work to leg but missed and the ball would have hit middle.

4/315, Laxman 57, Yuvraj Singh on one. Lead is 497.
