next years captains

Re: next years captains

carey would struggle to bowl the scotch 7A's out with that pace attack, can Richardson produce anything after his lesson with warnie?? he'll be required to bowl alot of overs after parker's demise into mediocrity last season

MGS have the 2 best fast bowlers in keath and louis cameron, and then bett to bowl handy off spin partnering voyage, who took nye on 30 wickets last season, if require jenkins and tyrone bean will be used to bowl, it is unlikely that trotter will be used,

You forgot to mention that this year bett will not have to shoulder all of the spinning duties, with a young man named r.ratwatte set to be in for a big season

hahahhah team morale you're just being silly, to even mention trotter as part of a "core leadership group" is laughable. That's almost as silly as saying James Bett is going to win cleo bachelor of the year 2008. Utter stupidity...Grammar are in huge trouble if this group of so called "senior players" are to lead them on a quest for back to back premierships

thats sum funny sht ur talkin right there fiskem lovin it mate

lets get back to the real issue: 08/09 captains:

st kevs: Clancey? possibly roberts
scotch: mcmillan deputised by eldridge and muttdon the token tool
caulfield: Handel with o'sullivan outside chance
hailebury: dunno?
carey: loohrum although parker good chance as is richardson
mgs: Likely between Morris and Voyage and Sam Dunell
Xavier: Curtain
Geelong Grammar: Dunno. Neville?
Geelong College: who?
BGS: dunno?
wesley: Gairns Jnr surely. cohen deputy

missed anyone? any other chances? howbout BGS, the geelongs and Hailebury?

Geelong College have no real captain material this year, tom summers the most experienced of the lot will not get the captaincy but it will be contended between hatch, carr and jones.

yep

i'd say roberto is a fair chance...only others may be tommy o'sullivan or cam fitchett

Tommy would make a really good captain, talks it up in the field and leads by example, Robbie is not much different but you rarely see fast bowlers get captain....

Re: next years captains

cohen needs to get a game first before he even mutters the words vice captain.....hack

cohen is in year 12 anyway so there isn't much chance of that happening anyway
