I cant see how you can say that when Xavier for the whole game made 3-230, with two of those wickets being a dodgy LBW and a caught behind off the pad.

Stop making excuses for your absolute hack team, you were rolled by a genuinely good side, nothing to be ashamed about.

It was a great pitch for cricket, as described in the captains speech, a bit in it for everyone.

the speech from the xavier skipper was spot on
and the deck was fine, bgs got rolled by quality opposition, xavier were batting after about 30 overs and it played fine for them. It seems like brighton are just looking for someone to blame after a disgraceful batting performance.

Xaviers pitch was very unprepared which made batting very tough obviously not accidental as all other pitches around xavier where hard as a rock. It shows in BGS 2 scores the first innings 42 and the second 185...

Clearly you have never had to worry about a little bit in a deck and when the deck isn't a 100% batsmen paradise you complain. Think about us bowlers, we dont get to make excuses about the deck we are told to go in and take wickets no matter the situation. There was no ticker in BGS performance. i wonder if BGS had won the toss and bowled and xavier made 200, would u still be saying it was a bowlers deck? Don't get all teary because you dont have a quick enough opening bowler that can genuinely get something out of a deck....

deck at first sight the deck looks dodgy but when the home team comes out and makes 230 odd on the same deck surely they are a far superior batting side than yours (e.g.haileybury, BGS)
