Cannot see Seymour at PV next year at his age and with previous desire for higher honors. The only thing keeping him there would be if he has completely given up on the dream.
As for others, Tsonas is one that comes to mind that could play at a higher level. Not sure if he has in the past or not?
The GF result shows they're still a fair way from it, particularly with their current leadership make up.
Ayres and Robinson depending on individual circumstances. Let's hope we haven't seen the last of Ayres!

They were well and truly outplayed on GF day yes, not sure that they are a "fair way from it" I was witness to what they did to my club (Brunswick) and if they retain the group they have they will once again be competitive like they have the past 5 seasons.

Well done to Balwyn for their efforts in gaining a flag, pres kennon has done a terrific job in the re-location and producing a successful group.

This one doing the rounds on the DVCA thread :

"Plenty valley captain brad Mitchell to play at research Eltham collegians. Also linked with Simon bray . Brad signing a 3 year deal"

Anyone confirm or Deny ?
Wouldn't shock, he and bray are both ex Eltham college students, brad is a teacher. so there may even be a sweetener with a job? Probably 2 that PV wouldn't want to lose considering they have an aging list. Predictions for Holten medal? Thorne surely goes back to back

Kew will have to replace Gledhill, who, by all reports, is a great bloke to along with his batting, which have propped them up for the last few years.

Seems strange that he would move on after finishing top and playing in a GF as captain. Sounds like he's chased some $$$.
