They played some unnecessary stupid shots like Cam Green, wtf was he thinking?Australia going Bazball.
This is a flat track and the aussies are batting last so it be easy as we think to win this, the poms are right in this. .I'll take that too.
Second tier bowlers will never be any good, Neser and Doggett are one day and T20 type of players not test standard.Deadest pink Test deck I can recall. Just as well we have this healthy cushion as Starc is understandably cooked and the other three have failed to reduce his load in the two matches by taking wickets. They need to step up to the plate in the evening session.
Let's bundle them out cheaply and go 2 nil up, their confidence will be shattered by then.Looking good.
Doggett yes, Neser's 5fer stopped the Poms in their tracks before they could jump back into the contest. Play him next match but jettison Doggett.Neser and Doggett
Look Neser had a very good test match but as a long term replacement he's not at the ideal age, 35 is nearing retirement age for any type of bowler.Doggett yes, Neser's 5fer stopped the Poms in their tracks before they could jump back into the contest. Play him next match but jettison Doggett.
Great win boys. Poms have never come back from 2-0 down since the late 80s..
It is Boland I want dropped for Neser to reward his effort, 6/90 and a Test 5for, equivalent to a batting century. Boland has the mediocre two match figures of 7/192. Doggett will go for Lyon.Look Neser had a very good test match but as a long term replacement he's not at the ideal age, 35 is nearing retirement age for any type of bowler.
Boland is ok nothing special either but he's in the same boat as Neser, both of them are in the twilight years of their careers and obviously Lyon is not going to get another game unless it's is a turning wicket, he's also getting long in the tooth as well. Do you see what's happening the team is aging and we need to slowly introduce youth otherwise watch us start losing more regularly very soon.It is Boland I want dropped for Neser to reward his effort, 6/90 and a Test 5for, equivalent to a batting century. You and I see but does CA. Barrell and Ness are reserves while it is the mid to late 30 something regulars that remain and are slowing a generational transition. Ussie and Starc should have been moved on 12 mths ago, Lyon after this series and I reckon Josh is close to announcing his retirement as he must be tired of missing Tests due to niggling injuries.Do you see what's happening the team is aging and we need to slowly introduce youth otherwise watch us start losing more regularly very soon.
