Agreed about Freeman being hard to find, and at a huge cost too.
Dezi is an unemployed expert bushman on a disability pension! Dumb Bludger with a head full of nonsense.

I heard about a hundred Police officers and detectives are actively checking homes and gathering information, especially from those that knew Freeman. Also to see if Dezi Freeman has anyone helping or harbouring him.

Might the Police be using searching dogs and trackers with good local knowledge. The dogs could be given his scent from his home like laundry, sheets, ... ?

All those Mine shafts might be hard to find and dangerous to explore, especially if Dezi is holed up in one. Caves too.
Small drones with lights and cameras would help there imo.
Gas cannisters could be dropped from a drone and could have tasers, or a gun barrel.... ! ? We're not up to that level of police security yet I don't think. Still, if available it'd be morally ok in this context with such an evil and dangerous killer on the loose.

It'll cost millions and millions to catch, try and imprision this dog for life. If he fires at any Police he's dead I reckon. That's ironic as that'd probably save more millions trying and jailing Dezi than the cost of the massive Police search.

It's an example that needs to be made I believe, sadly yet again. Like proposed laws on knives and the e-bikes.
A lawful democratic society is for the good of all, well in most cases.
