I was at Noble Park today. A fantastic win by the undermanned Tigers (5 players missing due to representative commitments and injuries). Well Done to our English Import Chris Nash who stepped in as captain for Richmond today just 36 hours off the plane.

Round 4 is another One Day Game next Saturday

Re: Victorian Premier Cricket 08/09

Northcote another win, thought they were going to be terrible this year.....

Richmond could be a team to watch, obviously the real teams will show who is in the race when the two dayers come around but good signs for a few teams.

Can you elaborate on these players? do u see them contributing to their teams in major ways?

or

did you just throw up these names in the response to the question?

kennedy opening bat for the bombers. makes some good 50s. watch this space after he overcomes a back injury and gives the 3s bowlers a rest

Re: Victorian Premier Cricket 08/09

Stumbled across this site as am looking for a Victorian Premier League player to come to England and play for Paignton in the Devon league for the 2009 season. Looking for an all rounder if possible but would be happy to talk to anyone interested in coming over. Can offer air fares, a job and coaching sessions.

Visit Home.

Re: Victorian Premier Cricket 08/09

So anyone heard of the impending collapse of Hawthorn?
Rumour is that it is becoming the new Casey of the league, the laughing stock of the comp. One's are fairly strong, but other grades will be lucky to win any games.
Also heard a nice little rumour of Cricket Victoria possibly expelling the club from District cricket?
Anyone else heard anything on this?

Why is there a chance of being expelled?
