This has been an issue since the 80's....all the teams that have one multiple flags have been accused of this....some did some didn't.

It has always been known when clubs are paying more than 2 players...but proof is difficult to obtain.

Stop blaming the association..they can't do everything....maybe the complainers need to get involved and rectify the issue????

Geez....one player this year moved from one club to another for 5 figures plus.....if you can afford that good luck..

I'm with the Onlooker........get on with the cricket.......

Totally agree. Thoughts for this weeks games??

Sth Caul v RPB
Hamp v Spot
Dout v Keil
A/west v A/Nth
Y/Club v OEG
Y/P v Mck

A/west v A/Nth - AWCC (outright)

Sth Caul vs RPB too hard to call, but considering the poor showing by Sth Caulfields top order last week, RPB must go in favourites.
Spotty with Davies due for a big score.
Keilor to pump Doutta, these 2 teams genuinely do not like each other. Could be a big week here if R Rutley remembers his user name(s) and password.
A West to pump Altona at home, J Taylor to make a big score.
Y Club narrowly over OEG, buoyed by Linleys return.
McKinnon to knock off Youlden.

Re: VTCA Thread

This week....

RPB....C Hillas back....RPB stronger again this match..not sure Sth Caulfield have the patience against a consistent RPB bowling line up...Mullaney will need to fire for SC to get up
Spotswood...provided they win the toss....Hampton could dish up anything next week
AWStC...How many runs will be scored by Boo......sms the result to 5555555....winner gets free drink at a club staring down relegation.
Yarraville Club....by a mile....
Keilor in a close one....Doutta due to bounce back
Youlden at home, another close one.

The funniest thing I have heard about the VTCA is that there is only 2 paid professionals per team.
Yarraville club would have to be one of many have a look at that team at least 75 % would be on the biccies... Bakes, O'keefe, Bronca, there is 3 before another person gets paid. Then you look at Airport West knowing Pete magafus he doesn't pay for nothing - nor would Tails or Brown, so really who is the Association kidding. Not bagging the players if you can get - take it
Borliase would be on money do doubt there but don't know the line up for the rest of the team.
I find it a joke and a blight on the VTCA that they just don't allow people to pay cause they turn a blind eye to the ones who have been breaking the rules for ever

Aussie boy maybe you could join the Vtca excutive then and give them
a hand if it upsets you that much, get with the times every club is doing it?
Look at chelsea they paid Chapple to terorise all the North sides for years?

What's the full story there? Surely must have been more than giving your pads a bit of a tap with the willow.

Where are the reports and tribunal results list other than the VTCA website, which is nearly always out of date or incomplete?

Re: VTCA Thread

Sth Caul v RPB - South Caulfield to bounce back from an average batting performance last week and topple RPB in a close one.

Hamp v Spot- Who knows, really? Picking Spotty though should get over the line

Dout v Keil - Keilor to keep Doutta winless

A/west v A/Nth - Easy pick, APW possibly outright

Y/Club v OEG - Yarraville club comfortably

Y/P v MCK- Mckinnon to continue their suprising form

Mate have already given that a go - the members involved, support the clubs that pay the money as they are their marque clubs, its just funny cause the VTCA is renowned for its following of the rules with no deivation, however this one seems to go by the wayside. Look in the end if you cant beat em' join em'. No disrespect to the Execuative alot of good people on their who give their time, but what is funny is the rules are goverened for some clubs and yet not others?? Why don't they just get rid of the rule - this is my point it creates a lot of work for everyone.
So thanks for the suggestion, are you on the exec... if not give it a ago..

If Super Mario waves his favourite magic Salami Wand , Boo will be in for a ton this weekend. Unfortunately it will be in the 2nd XI .

Well you tell us how they can stop it, it is easy to sit back on here and comment but what is the solution, it is not the AFL.

- Sth Caul to win at home in what should be another ripper. Sth Caul have had a tough draw and will be in great shape if they can get over the line
- Hampton to win at home, Spoty looking ordinary with two guns not showing much
- Keilor to continue Douta's shocking start to the year, just got no players left
- APW in a thumping at home, will post 350
- Y/Club should manage to get over OEG but won't discarg an upset
- McKinnon to get up over Youlden who are staring at relegation with a lack of fire power
