Sorry boys forgot to mention i have some more fixtures but only 1st and 2nds if anyone keen let me no.

There could be some changes but unlikely i would think

If any of you dickheads had read previous posts, listened at the AGM or the delegates meeting, asked your Club, or had even read properly the communication sent to Clubs you would know that what you are floating as the draw was only a DRAFT.
You are only confusing the situation by posting crap.

Well if you are one of the dickheads on the VTCA committee or have any influence, get your shit organisation onto order. The season starts in just over 3 weeks & no one knows what is going on!

News from the green trackies. After a weekend on the coast training/drinking the is going to be an internal review at the club. Questions are being raised as to why when training on the beach on Saturday Greenpeace and the local coast guard were called to try and refloat messers Taylor and Petrolium and get them back out to sea. Club officials scoffed at suggestions that it was a set up from a disgruntled G.Turner. Turner was told that there were drinks on offer at BHP that night and apparently in a drunken stupour attended C.U.B. When asked to leave repeatedly by police he was heard screaming the he was there on invitation for the free grog. After several minutes of laughter he promptly wet himself and was taken back to the GILL for a good lie down.

You seem to have my updates covered there Millhouse!

I have just got out of hospital myself. I was on a stake out, outside the Sunshine Avenue bottle shop when what we could say a "large lady" who's identity I can not reveal for safety reasons approached me with a brown paper bag which contained a lot of $$$$ and a messsage reading "get of our backs and especially Garys - From Broncs & Bakes.

I told this lady, thanks for the gift but F#@K OFF back to KFC. Before i knew it I was being stabbed with every colour pen you could think off. Doctors even found an eraser up my nose and liquid paper up my ass.I cant remember too much else exept my last vision before i lost consiousness was this lady waddling away with a green book under her arm (possibly a scorers book)

Mate - If I had any influence, There would be no bonus points, no covers, no player restrictions, Doutta would have won in 03/04 and Tubby McFarlane would be president.
What I do know is that quite a few Associations are having trouble with draws because of Ground problems with Councils, the VTCA is not alone.
If your are such guru why not volunteer yourself to give them a hand, or if as you say they are just a shit organisation why hang around.

I agree with no bonus points! Stuff the VTCA, all they do is turn a blind eye to anything the Nth sides do anyway.

Oh here we go again...... south sides having a sook, grow up and post something constructive:rolleyes:

Cast your mind back a few seasons when Doutta were rubbed out of the finals. Apparently were not blinded then?? Think before you post!

Interesting that Bentleigh and Pt Melb would be the most likely to have their ground unavailable for Round 1, they might want to spend more time on their square rather than getting paperwork together. Priorities.

Bentleighs ground will be unavailable for longer than Round 1. Looks like the council has ripped it up to re-turf it. Not sure where they are playing home games early in the season.

Anyone know?

How correct you are, someone 'sticking up for douttas' ? That's new.

Re: VTCA Thread

If the VTCA did update the site as to what is going on , it would make things a bit easier for everyone ,especially those precious commodities on the other side of the yarra.
There's still 2 weeks before the supposed start of the season, i'm guessing 3 or 4 due to weather & ground conditions, so does it really matter if the fixture comes out a week before ? Clubs should have received a rough draft anyways.

Re: VTCA Thread

South News:

Bentleigh's ground is unavailable until Christmas and Murrumbeena's ground is unavailable for 12 months. Alternative grounds are yet to be confirmed. Bit of a crisis here in the South!

Meanwhile, former Senior Division powerhouse North Caulfield Glenhuntly CC have merged with Old Caulfield Grammarians CC who play football on the Glenhuntly ground in the winter. Perhaps things are finally looking up for the Hunters?!

Donations to the South clubs can be sent care of Bentleigh CC. We've got no money!!!

The Bentleigh Subway might be going the way of Lehman Brothers with no cricket at Arthur Street until after Christmas.

No fixture, but we have an updated list of clearances and permits. Altona North picked up Damien Abbey. Decent bat, spent a far bit of time at Footscray and the NT.

i would have 'em @ our club as well. From what i'seen of these two kids both are very talented crickters with plenty of improvement still left especially Zaheer he's only 17, but i thought he was a Doutta Stars Junior with bRuce pell.

Uncel windows must have some players in his joint if he can afford to dismiss/outsource juniors like these which such disdain.Local clubs can only survive or have longterm success if they develop their own junior/local talent and keep 'em @ the club.Paying cricket mercenaries to bolster squads is not a long term answer, such blokes have no loyaly to the club.
I did not dismissed them goose.

they have no interest in playing at out club. i sought their interest in playing for our club back in July. They declined and have continued to do so.

As for other juniors who have played at our club, I don't have their current contact details and as I commented before, they know where we are if they really want to play at our club.

I am confident about the juniors we have been developing, it is not sprint race, they will do well for our club.

once you've extracted your head from your anus and come up for some fresh air and stop ingesting all that methane and remember to take your medication you may come to realise that most associations are having trouble organising fixtures due to councils not making some grounds immediately available. well said, sniffin around. post 2969. some members of the v.t.c.a. executive are working there butts off and lobbying hard for some of the clubs that are in trouble. your comments are unwarrented and out of line. slither back into your hole.

Re: VTCA Thread

should be a fixed amount of points for teams that win the match, say 20 points......and bonus points should relate to the team that loses...so they still get something from the match.although may prove difficult if a team is going for an outright!
just proves a bit of a joke when a team has lost or won and still has to play the rest of the match out...say 10 overs! any thoughts.
