First match is in progress right now. Delhi Jets won the toss and elected to field. Chandigarh openers Hamish Marshall and Imran Farhat are playing well. They are missing quite a few deliveries, but still scoring at 9 an over.

chris cairns is playing fantastic shots.....already two sixes by him....the fielding from delhi has been very good.

Spinners have turned this game on its head. A boundary for Hall after a long time. He has a lot of work to do if Chandigarh are to reach anywhere around 150.

All the international stars performed well until now. Andrew Hall bowled a fantistic first over. I think atapattu is the key batsman.

The over from Tuffy has completely changed the game. The game is in the balance right now, but I think all Jets need is to play sensibly because the target is too small.

Delhi lost by there own fault the pitch was much better i think they played lots of bad shots as chris cairns said.

Basically all the indians failed with the bat which is a bit of a let down. However looked good with the ball. How well did it go down in india?

Cant say i was that impressed with it all. Hope the games will be better tomorrow, looking forward to Lara batting.

Nothing different to the English T20, infact, it was worse.

And as a Durham fan have to say bit disappointed with Dale's performance.

There all youngsters trying to impress the Indian leagues.Well known Indian players aren't going to sign up and risk their international future are they?

I can't comment on being a Durham fan but agree with the opinion that it was like a poor T20 game from the UK.

Maybe the standard will pick up as the tournament progresses but it has to be said that it wasn't the best of starts.

Yeah, I wasn't particularly impressed with the match. The start was good but after the first 10 overs there weren't any fireworks with the bat. The fielding was outstanding though. I don't understand why they have two international keepers in one team and one had to sit out. I think had Nixon played the Jets would have won the match.

About 15 years ago Kiran Powar was a bigger name in Mumbai cricket than his brother Ramesh. A left-hand batsman with a wide array of strokes, Kiran struggled to break into a powerful Mumbai batting order and switched allegiance to other states. The match is boring they are playing too slowly. They should have made a better pitch for twenty20. Just five overs remaining so there should be some fireworks.

another low scoring match. i think the pitch isn't too good for batting or the batsmen are playing horribly. but seeing that all the international stars have struggled i think its a pitch where the ball is not coming on to the bat. all the matches are taking place on the same ground so i expect the same from the remaining of the games.
