Luke Rosbrook and Paul Baker joint winners last night on 17 votes. Still I think a few people scratching their heads as to how the umpires work out their 3-2-1. Round 2 Plenty Vs Bundoora 3 votes- A. Sing (bundoora) 5 catches, dnb. 2 votes- L. Rosbrook (plenty) 6-32. off 10 overs.

He might have got 6 tailenders out, maybe?

I would have thought my 4/20, 4*@ a strike rate of 400 and outstanding captaincy of the winning side would have seen me get the 3 ahead of both of them:D:D

Have you hung up the gloves PA? I would have thought you'd like the idea of a keeper getting the votes.

Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 09/10

What a weekend! Down and out on the first Saturday the Plenty boys showed just how good they can be and won the flag via a reverse outright.

Great crowd for all 3 days. That combind with the best ground in the comp made it a memorable final and one I know I'll remember for a long time.

For all those with nothing to do this Sunday head on down to Plenty Park for Charity Day which includes a VWFL match between the Diamond Creek and Lalor girls kicking off at around 10:30am followed by the DVCA Premiers Plenty taking on Riverside in a 20/20 match from around 2pm.

Details are on the DVCA website, tickets are $10 a single or $25 for a family. It will be a great day full of entertainment and a great chance to raise some money for a good cause.

Both clubs have lost members and supporters during the bushfires and all funds raised will go the the CFA and Royal Childrens Hospital.

Check out the website for details.

Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 09/10

Cant believe we have to listen to you blokes crap on all year about every last tiny microcosm to do with anything Barclay cricket, majority of it complete biased crap and shallow rhetoric, but you cannot muster your pride and personal disappointment together and congratulate out loud Plenty on stella GF win that capped off thier remarkable season.

They are a class unit with a team of amazing cricketers. It will be a shame not to able to play against them next season and beyond.

So, well done to Plenty CC. Hoo Roo to all. My tail is between my legs till October when we reinitiate with Money Shield. Hope to see you soon xoxo.

Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 09/10

I can't believe you think you will still be heard on this forum. Get back to the Money Shield Forum and kiss their arses because it's going to be a long year ahead
and best you hope they don't have a 3rd division for you the following season.

Pity you didn't show a bit more of that fighting spirit during the season:D

Good to see the forum big guns are back being vocal. Still cant wish Plenty well though.

Leave the negative dialouge for the easy target. Pretty weak.

Clearly the best team all year, great result to turn around a 1st innings loss in the big one. Happy now?
