Can't disagree with that.

Provided we both make the granny in H (Diamo and Bundoora that is) we should win as long as we bat better against Kumar and play the ball along the ground a bit more. I think Kumar got 6 for on the weekend and most of them were caught of shots that should never have gone in the air but for some lazy batting, which hopefully we can fix come finals time.

100% correct. There are going to be a few selection challenges over the coming weeks.

If they were missing 12 players how did they still have 11 in H grade?

Numbers are good at the club and if every player made themselves available, along with the juniors that are regularly training with the seniors, we would have at least a dozen blokes miss out each week. In reality there are always players unavailable for various reasons. We should have some good clashes with Creek in March.

Ah, same "problem" we had last season.:)

Wanderers got there work cut out to make the semi's in c grade needing 280.The panthers may hold there spot in fourth despite looking at a big loss this round.

its good to be positive I suppose but you haven't got a hope young fella. We could have reversed the batting order this game and still win in a canter.Lower are your only hope, not that there bowling is any better.

No matter who is batting I will back myself to get the batsmen out, that's why I said my initial statement.

Congratulations to Camrea for not fielding a side in 'H' grade on the weekend. You pea hearts cost our 'G' grade a top four finish. Another so called powerful Jika club to strengthen our competition, yeah sure.

Also to the weak ...... at Riverside in G grade against us.
Refused to make a game of it and simply batted the second day out after being beaten on the first day.
Although creek got in by default ( re walkover above) hope they smash the clappers this week... who obviously decided they would rather play Creek than give us a chance.

Rule change proposals for next season:

teams that forfeit - fine $200 as per this year and in addition lose 3 pts (or more.)

Teams that forfeit in last two rounds - fines increased to $500 !!
This will prevent weak dogs pulling the pin early because they cant make the 4.

Terrible way for our 'G' grade boys to finish, a genuine 5th eleven team full of kids, some with great potential.

'D' grade for me, blew my 'C' grade chance in round 10. Our 'D' grade has had a great year and hopefully we'll take one more step this week.

I think our 'C' grade boys will do the job, Humpty Dumpty is fully fit and is a finals specialist.
