Also why games are never played in Darwin or Cairns. Kinda like playing in England up there.

We should either ban QLD from the competition or force them to play every game away as yet another GABBA match ruined by rain

They should play them at my place further north.

We never get rain here... haven't had any real rain since Feburary, even though its now into our wet season.

Anyone have any spare rain? :p

Disappointing, pretty poor effort from Western Australia to lose that game.

Dumb move not picking Magoffin. Has absolutely starred there over the past few seasons now he can't crack a game for us in the one-day stuff. Coetzee was crap, Doropolous is hit-and-miss, Noffke got wickets but was expensive.

Disappointed to see Jake Fawcett get a duck on debut too. Played a few games of state league indoor cricket for the same centre I play for this season.

I'd say Nofke was going easy on the Queenslanders. Dishing up a couple of pies for them to hit and got a couple of wickets to make it look credible :p

I am seriously saying this time, but I think this QLD side is looking good to retain the FRC.

Tasmainia pulling Queensland back with wickets after a strong start, with Faulkner just dropping a catch. QLD 5 for 161.

Queensland 9 for 233 of their 50, reckon this might be a pretty tight run chase. Hopefully the rain stays away.

Yeah I went away for a little while and came back and looked on the internet for the figures... looked at the bowling figures and saw only 4 wickets as taken by the bowlers, think Tasmania should have it from here.

But looking at the scorecard, well that tells a different story.

Nathan Rimmington is really coming along well lately. Consistent in ODIs with very good performances week in, week out. Shame he's a bit too old.

Haha just as I posted the last one Rimmington bowls Doherty to win the game by 24 runs. Queensland had 9 balls to spare. Good performance by the bowlers, and especially in the field, even if there were poor decisions made by the batsman the fielders still have to get the ball back to the stumps.

Another pathetic performance by Western Australia apart from Robinson. Some very ordinary shots out there on a very flat wicket.

8 for 165.

WA should be the one to beat, not sure why they keep stumbling.

NSW have a very strong batting line-up this game.

The batting is pretty fragile and inexperienced ATM.

Christ South Australia are rubbish, 4 for 61 already against Victoria.

Good fight back from SA with some nice batting from Christian and Borgas in particular. Hopefully Victoria can lose some early wickets in the chase, Rogers would be nice :)
