Re: HDCA Juniors

Haha

Its Pretty Funny how as soon you think 15s Best 11 J Powick Springs Straight into your mind

9/10 his name will come first.

Re: HDCA Juniors

Are you shitting me?

Sam Harbison has got to be one of the biggest swingers in the League

He absolutely destroyed us swinging it in and out at free will.

well i havent seen a lot of you or nick...
but i saw him bat earlier in the year and he looks like a pretty capable hitter aswell as a decent bowler

played him in the seniors and it was just straight

he can bowl the occasional outswinger, but i agree, nothing special
much better batsman in my opinion

Re: HDCA Juniors

Yeah well hes a very capable hitter
When he hits the ball ( Plays and misses a fair bit)
Though he has been out a fair bit after having his apendix removed.
(So i havent seen him bat all to much this year)
IMO i just wouldnt put a pure slogger in a best 11.

i agree, he is nothing more than a slogger
but he bowls wicket taking balls when he gets them in the spot
and although he isnt quick, he would be in the top few quickest in the 15 gold league

Re: HDCA Juniors

Yeah
I do Remember the Hatrick he took agaisnt us a few years back
Lol
Poor William Wallace Facing the Hatrick Ball

Re: HDCA Juniors

Haha Yeah
Wasnt much of a cricket old will
Great to have on the Field a bundle of Excitement

Still would be playing now If it wasnt for the 17s Green Coach Cameron

Whom probaly on gave will about 5 hours of game time last season.

Under 17 Side - in no particular order

1 - James Mclean eiscc (c)
2 - Josh Henkel green
3 - Liam Henkel grenn
4 - James Lovegreen
5 - Shaun Brentall ross
6 - Michael Kamay eiscc (wk)
7 - Arjun Arora ban
8 - Jack Viola edin
9 - Michael Mcdowell ross (vc)
10 - Sachin Anand Heid
11 - Anthony Dorrington ross
12th man - Chris Strongman grenn

Overall there wasnt to much to choose from this season there are some regulars in there along with a few new guys on the bloke, i also didnt think anyone was good enough from 17 green's worthy of a spot

james mclean captaining on the bases he seemed to have had a another good year with both bat and ball

michael mcdowell as vice captain, has just bursted on to the hdca scene and showed he can do it all

players like j and l henkel are no suprise both having a very good years with the bat, behind the stumps micky kamay having a solid year with the gloves and bat,

arjun another player who has improved leaps and bounds this year along with the likes of sachin and anthony dorrington

there was a great deal of players i could have chosen to run the drinks but chris strongman seemed most fitting

players in red are bottom age under 17's and surprisingly both captain and vice are bottom age

Re: HDCA Juniors

as if you put drrington in there
he has to be the luckiest player going around, but there are far better players
hatchett? love? rice? fogarty?
cmon you gotta be a tad serious

i've got love in there, hatchett and fogarty made absoultley no runs this year and rice got 7 wickets so you cant have him in there, and dorro finished top 5 in hdca 17's season run tally so he does deserve his spot and this side is based on how people went this yr
