Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

So QLD win a game at home by 1 wicket and they are favourites to win on the road at a ground they last won at many years ago, their last trip here they got beaten by an innings after Victoria had a poor 1st innings, their previous trip to that Victoria racked up 800/8, yeah I can see why you are so confident especially after QLD gave up any hope of a home final by choking badly against the bottom side

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

Well Eddie, the Vics are the biggest chokers in state cricket history, the best underdogs in the business are playing (Queensland) who thrive being underdogs.

Hodge Podge is chasing the lucre, as is Nannes. The Vics have put an SOS out for the bear to provide assistance, but the bulls are here to crash the party.

All bets are off come Wednesday Eddie, the bulls are going to be victorious.

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

Actually I reckon QLD deserve the chokers tag more than Victoria, they have actually lost a HOME Shield final in recent years, even Victoria has never done that, plus the amount of games they have lost at home in recent years that saw them miss out on finals altogether, alot of choking going on there

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

I can see the constructiveness in this.

I'm not going to say anything. I'm going to let the actions of the better team speak for themselves. What team that is is up for debate now, but won't be by then.

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

I'm letting my bets talk for themselves, plus at least if Queensland doesn't win then I still get my money back :)

Who did you load up on Boris?

1000 on Queensland, 500 on Victoria. I'm not much of a gambler, and I figure with the odds there the worst I'm going to do is get most of my money back if Queensland lose.

With my luck it will no doubt be a draw :D

What happens if you run out of BCash, I have gone all out to try and recover some money, but what happens if I run out?

Don't quote me on this, but don't you get a small amount to keep you going?

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

loza.

Finch goes and now and the bloodnut edges one first ball!

Victoria in some real strife at 5 for 60.

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

5/75 at lunch. Cameron White is 10 not out, Matthew Wade with him on 3. Aaron Finch has top score with 26.

Queensland's bowlers have been superb, Chris Swan and Luke Feldman have been superb with two wickets each, James Hopes has the other.

Victoria with a lot of work to do.

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

6/75 now. Great delivery from Cutting, good length ball that cut in, missed the outside edge and took off stump. White had no answer to that.

Hastings the new man at the crease.
