Just two more rounds before a break to welcome the big fella with all his presents. And I'm sure that most cricketers in the Sub District competition are all wishing for one thing - nice warm weather, and NO rain. The start to the 2010/2011 season has been one of the worst ever and we can only hope that it improves from now until finals time in March.

In the North South Group, the highlight game is between Malvern and Elsternwick , with the Brighton and Plenty Valley match also holding some interest as the other top sides in this division should all win. Mount Waverley hosting Croydon appears the pick of the games in the East West group with the Werribee vs. Noble Park match also holding plenty of interest.

Yarraville (0-1-3) vs. Sunshine (1-1-2)
Box Hil (1-0-3)l vs. Bayswater (1-2-1)

Let's all hope that there is a sunny end to the first half of the season.

Equal top then smartarse! 12345....obviously your'e a pretty creative person! The fact that theyv'e won 4 in a row constitutes a roll to me...especially after last years season.

Mate, you are categorically wrong, Elsternwick are not top they have 21 points, 3 points from the leaders. And how can they have won 4 games in a row when their record is 3wins 1 draw 1 loss?

It's hard to believe but the final round before the Christmas/new Year break faces the competition as a number of teams have started to build a solid base and potential finals participation. And with fingers crossed another round of 1-Days is on the plate for Round 7.

No doubt the Brunswick versus Caulfield match in the North South Group holds the most interest. However the game at AK Lines Oval between Plenty Valley and Malvern is also of immense interest as is the Elsternwick versus Coburg encounter. The highlight match in the East West group is between Melton and Mount Waverley with the Croydon versus Werribee and the Oakleigh versus Broadmeadows matches also attracting some interest.
