The BaggyGreens Thread

Marnus Labuchange you have put us in a spot letting Stokes get into your head. We needed you fresh tomorrow morning. Meanwhile Trav goes on his merry way mixing loose play with spanking cuts and drives. He seems impervious to pressure.

The Sydney test is looking like a real test.
Good to see the Poms improve.
I only say that because I prefer a close game in all sports.
I still hope Australia wins this 5th test.

Could this test match end up as a draw?
Might Australia declare?
Decisions!
See how it goes but such strategic thinking is interesting.

It was great to see Head and Smith each get another century plus.

My take is the Aussies will be looking at a 200 lead then declare. That will give the Poms a lot of score board pressure even tho it is no minefield to bat on. Steven Smith is a good strategic captain so he will keep the opposition under the pump..

Thank god this is the last time I have to listen to those drunken buffoons the balmy army.
Them and the Richies which disbanded in this Test thankfully. Brother and I have first hand experience with these drunken Aussie buffoons as they were positively embarrassing after a gut full by roaming round the ground shouting, falling over and generally being a bloody nuisance and a massive embarrassment.

A fab career by Midge spoilt only by her poor Test record as she lacked the technique needed for seaming pitches. And for all her white ball feats, she was not our best with Meg Lanning, Belinda Clarke, Karen Rolton and Ellyse Perry all having better ODI records.
Will Mitch Starc now follow his wife into retirement.
