He is just a very arrogant individual and shows nobody any respect. Should hear the way he speaks to his father, its even worse than to othe players. He wont listen to anybody when they are talking to him whether its to help him or not. His maturity levels are a very big problem and he is worse than a 5 year old on red cordial.

dont no him personally but on the field hes an ordinary kid! enough of this kid. on other matters, is David Farrell from Albury down in Melb this year? he played nsw u17 and made a 200 for them but was supposed to be coming here to have a crack at premier cricket!

yeah i also been told about him playing 2's and 3's last year but from what people around the club have been saying.. he must be a massive show this year and if all the hard work pays off he could be one of the stars of the competition...
does anyone know what he looks like because ive never heard of him. is he the bloke whose losing his hair who use to be a bit chubby?

Pete Herrick is a 1st XI calibre fieldsman. He is likely to receive an opportunity due to the turnover of players from last season. He has previously scored a ton in the 2s when playing for North Melb a couple of years ago. Very intense, thinks of very little beyond cricket. His dream date would be at Brooklyn with a bowling machine all night!

And yes, he is the bloke going bald.

If he plays in the ones first game, he will not bat in the top 8 and that is just the way footscray thinks.. No hastings for the first 4 games as he will be in the 20/20 champions league so he may play..

Love, O'Brien, Brouhaska, McCammond and Duckworth gone. Will still have a decent line-up though.

S Dean
Russ
Geisler
Hastings
Lindsay
T Dean
Green
Sandri

Plus a couple more. With their all-rounders, can afford an extra batsman or bowler, their choice. Supposedly Russ hasn't been all that keen on keeping, so maybe they'll bring in a gloveman. They've obviously got room to move on that front, with Hastings and Lindsay able to bat in their top 5 or 6.

No hastings for the first couple of games and green will not be playing ones first game. that leaves a massive gap in regards to both bat and ball with lindsay opening at one end and probably geisler or worthington at the other.

this will be a very interesting season for the dogs.. massively rebuilding..

russ will keep as the seconds keeper has gone to nth to keep in the ones. the batting lineup is settled from 1 to 5.. after that who knows what will happen!!

Have heard G.Lindsay has been to minimal training sessions and may be a bit underdone.

what happened to scown?
adam thomas isn't a 1sts keeper! no way. dylan kight is down there too from melton so good competition for a spot

Re: Victorian Premier Cricket 09/10

Scratch what I said earlier. As mentioned, Dale is playing, and now the talk is Halbish is going to go around again, even though he's working down in Ocean Grove. Plus, Rob Cassell had his first bowl off a long run a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully for Victorian cricket his body holds together.

How come north are so hopeless ? I can't figure it out

Re: Victorian Premier Cricket 09/10

The facilities have been a huge issue. Not being able to use Arden St, plus the fact that when it was last used the wicket was diabolical, makes it ridiculously hard to attract any players.

Have'nt they changed Grounds, or are they goin back to Arden st

Re: Victorian Premier Cricket 09/10

Not sure what is going on there this year, but even then, JJ Holland is seen as a pure 3rd XI ground, and pressure was being put on them last year to find an alternative venue or secure an upgrade for it.

i'm pretty sure the 1's will be on JJ holand, cause they've redone the square there.

and on another note i think they'll have a much better year than last year. although they dont have any big names that have come to the club, the first XI will be quite different with the arrival of Clint Hillas and some old players who have come back to the club from club cricket level.

this might lead to some good wins

So are they getting new social facilities built at the new arden st aswell as the ground redevelopment, or they goin to be out of the same hole in the wall as last year at JJ Holland park

They will be at JJ Holland park but will be using social facilities. And I believe that kite is at footscray

Re: Victorian Premier Cricket 09/10

if you check mycricket it does not say that. It does not say where the thirds and fourths grounds are for north melbourne.

Re: Victorian Premier Cricket 09/10
