    Fake cricket bats

Re: Fake cricket bats Good luck with your WW. I hope you have more luck with yours than I had with mine. I spent £150 on my Gold Hard Drive, and it lasted all of 5 months of actual playing before starting to show real big surface cracks and edge cracks, that was the Gold as well. I've now...

    Advice on Bats

Re: Advice on Bats I'd advise going for a 2009 Gunn and Moore. I've got an Icon myself, and I've seen quite a few of this season's G&M's and they've all looked excellent. My Icon is superb, best bat I've ever had by a long way. I'll definitely be sticking with G&M for a long while now.

    revolutionary new cricket bat

Re: revolutionary new cricket bat MCC have approved it though, so it should be fine for a while yet. Stuart Law used it yesterday. Didn't use it from the start, he started off with a normal bat, and then switched to this Mongoose bat once he was on 32, and went on to smash a massive six...

Re: King Pietersen's Blog- **Updated 02-05-08** First match of the season, quick summary of my performance: Bowling: 2/40 off 10 overs. Got a wicket with a bouncer, the lad tried to ride the bounce but I was too quick for him (:P) and he edged behind. Handy start. Fielding: Solid in the...

Why isn't Phil Hughes in the ODI team?

Re: Why isn't Phill Hughes in the ODI team? He suffers from Matthew Hayden syndrome (from 2001-2006ish) in OD cricket, trying to smack the ball too hard. He's not got a good List A record at all, and has struggled in England in the FP Trophy, getting out cheaply quite often. There's no doubting...

    What Armguard to Use?

Re: What Armguard to Use? morrant slip on cricket arm guard | cricket extra protection by brand | morrant cricket extra protection | morrant sports How about that one? Looks a more conventional style than the Dukes one, without losing the slip on comfort. Personally I'd never wear an arm...

    How to stop Wides

Re: How to stop Wides Just make sure everything's coming through straight. One of the best pieces of advise I've ever heard was probably the simplest thing. "If you run in straight a line, your levers (arms) move in a straight line and you follow through that same straight line, where's the...

    Is this reverse out swing?

Re: Is this reverse out swing? You don't need to bowl at 90mph to get reverse swing, as explained in the article you provided, which states: "As the roughness on this leading side (facing the batsman) is increased, the critical bowling speed above which reverse swing can be obtained is...

    Batting Drills

Re: Batting Drills I'm guessing you've not got a cut stroke for when he drops it short, so I'd advise you to leave the ball. If it's wide of off-stump, just let it go. I've found that the key to my batting is just keeping my eye on the ball and keeping my head down. If I play straight for my...

About time i got a new video

Re: About time i got a new video That's because of your action, if you get your body straight, your arm coming down straight, and you foot pointing straight down the pitch, you'll be able to swing the ball both ways. I think you could really do with making some changes to your action, as you're...

About time i got a new video

Re: About time i got a new video Flintoff's front foot has changed alot since that picture, it's now perfectly straight. Sticking with an angled front foot means all the pressure and body weight is going through the side of your ankle, and your knee ligaments, putting tremendous strain on...
