Subbies 2011/12

Got to give yourself a chance Herbert, runs on the board with Inness in the attack and Mansoor already out. Hansen is going to be a big part of their innings but either way we are pretty confident.

SS not too sure about the circumstances but that is what I heard but 3 balls in could suggest that he carried it in and was just going to see how it went although that is purely speculation. Either way you would think he would still have played considering how well he has gone this season with the willow.
Probably a fair call, he has been good with the bat, however, they certainly want him up and about with the ball!

Yeah no doubt your a chance, ive not seen Mansor bat but statistically he has been going well or them! Hanson obviously a big wicket as well. What was the track like at Ormond?

Melton leader is saying Harwood hurt his elbow in the warm up,it will be diagnosed during the week to see what damage there is.
Yarraville is lightning quick so wouldnt mind betting they'll still get the runs.

Game is being played at Melton. Yarraville is lightning, Macpherson rarely. Tough ask, but you'd still back the Premiers. Hewat will need to return to his early season form to get the 6 points. Melton 2s racked up 290 at Yarraville Oval, can be ice-rink fast there when the grass is cut low.

Welcome back, PB, where have you been, son? We've missed your pre match predictions and banter.

"often imitated, but never duplicated."

Thanks S&w,back on air after some technical difficulties.
My mistake, presumed game was at at yarra,I agree Hewat will have to bowl the bulk of the overs with Mcrae if theyre to win.

Predictions halfway through

Elsternwick to get over Moorabbin
Ormond to beat Williamstown
Yarraville to upset Melton
Altona over Sunshine
Brighton in another upset over Caulfield
Sneaky feeling the Saints could pull off a miracle against Kingston, Entwhistle will have to pull one out of the hat though.
If my predictions are correct it leaves the finals race in a very interesting position, anyone can make it except Broady, Sunshine and Moorabbin. It also makes the top 4 very interesting, Werribbee, Caulfield and Ormond all on equal points in first with Melton falling one game back.

Interesting day yesterday. Clearly a great win by Kingston against Malvern, which keeps them well and truly in the race. What happened there SS? Malvern couldnt close it out?
Brighton were sensational against Caulfield, at one stage having them 5/25. Manser and Crawley were exceptional.
Big games this week, and every week from now on. Ormond vs Yarraville at Yarraville will be a tough one to pick.

8/83 and in deep! daley played probably the best innings I've seen. Was patient early but got his eye in and smashed it everywhere. Bodes well for the rest of the season.

Manser and Crawley are very good bowlers!

Down to 8 teams now in the SW. 5 from the south. Really too hard too call. Would imagine Caulfield, Melton and Werribee are certainties. Which teams will finish 4, 5 and 6. Huge game this week Elsternwick v Williamstown.

Huge game for us this week. Brighton vs Ormond in Round 13 could be huge also, should be a cracking 5 weeks of cricket leading into the finals.
